I think I had repressed anger. I don't know why exactly but the wood chopping bit got me so angry, crying & screaming like I was frustrated at something. I need to come back here often for a self check-in

I cut down a tree in my yard that was taller than my house. I loved it so much and I could feel it getting anger out. The cracking sound the 3 trunks made right before they fell was so satisfying!

This practice helped me to go through a breakup. I was extremely heartbroken, mad, sad, angry... It;s been a month and I'm a completely diffrent person, I'm calm and I can recall the whole situation with gratitude. Thank you so much for this practice that hekped me release my unpleasant emotions 😍

Wow this was so great! I was feeling chest tightness due to anxiety all day and my body felt relieved and excited when shaking the hands and body..I wanted to start jumping extremely high and excessively. I imagine this is how my soul must feel while my body tries to keep its composure. Like “I want to get out!” Definitely going to repeat.

Amazing! First time doing somatic yoga. It was very releasing. I started to cry during the wood chopping. At the end I felt like a beautiful flower vine connected my brain to my spine to the rest of my body. I felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders, I felt empowered, and free. I felt like a higher self was enveloping me in their arms. Thank you. Will be back for more!

You really nailed in these new video you are putting out they are amazing. I literally think this has saved my life! I have M.E, and a lot of what I think is stored trauma, as a result of being run down I've had a major flare up, face in spasms cronic fatigue (literally felt like dog 💩) I've done this workout multiple times a day for the last week and I cannot believe how good I am feeling, to the point my face is nearly spasm free. I seem to yawn excessively while doing this workout, which is odd. Thank you so much ❤

I just found your site. My life has been chaos for over a year. I really thought people were making it up that you could cry out your emotions doing these workouts. This was my first time doing your workout and I was crying doing the karate chops. I’ve been stuck in fight or flight for about 8 weeks. So much anxiety and unable to sleep but wired. Thank YOU! Half an hour after doing the somatic release I started crying and couldn't stop. The same thing happened yesterday when I did an ampuku massage. The massage therapist said I had a lot of suppressed anger and it's making me sick. Probably explains why I had a stroke 4 years ago.
This felt very kundalini like. Am i correct in this observation? I love it tho.

I know i need to do this, i started crying as soon as you told me i was safe 🥺 but i've got fibromyalgia currently intensified by long covid symptoms (and I'm autistic, woo-hoo!); it's really uncomfortable right now sitting cross-legged (the cushion doesn't help, i did try), and then when i lay down flat my head and tailbone are so uncomfortable on the mat. Any suggestions? I am gonna look for another one of yours in the meantime. (thank you for all that you do for us 🙏)

I just did it on my bed, one leg hanging off, then did downward dog just leaning on the side of the bed. My knees popped trying to be in a crawl position but that’s because I’m stiff! Keep at it! You’ll loosen up as I will!❤

I really want to try this, but I worry a little about the fast inhales and exhales during the sawing and the chopping wood. It seems too fast, I worry about hyperventilating. Is it really that fast, or is it "inhale hold hold hold exhale"? Thank you so much.
