What he played at 0:30 is very reminiscent to the theme song of "Magyar Népmesék" - watch?v=oU6l8qtG0BY While I'd be very surprised, if it'd turned out to be intentional, I can still see Guthrie being aware of that song, as his vocabulary is mindblowing.

Im lucky enough to say that Guthrie was my guitar tutor for 2 years in Guildford. not only is unreal on guitar but he is also one of the nicest people you will ever meet.

Seeing him with Neville Marten brings back memories of Guitar Technique Magazine which was my introduction to Guthrie. Probably the best guitar columnist of all time. He covered so many styles of music you could really see his genius in those lessons
