Might not be racist, babies just get freaked out when they barely see white/black people, and then all of the sudden there are different races around them. Or like, how they get confused about twins and their dads shaving off beards. They're just experiencing the world different than we are. Everything's fairly new. Idk how deep it goes, but I've seen instances like that, too. My friend just had a baby a few month back and both his parents are white, and they don't visit too many people rn (pandemic, y'know) so I saw them out somewhere, and the baby just stared at me really wide eyed the whole 4-5 minutes we talked. I think it depends on the child's natural reaction to new things. I've also had babies cry after seeing me 😂 so there goes my self-esteem, am I right? (jk)
