This never left me. Whenever I am confronted with heartbreak subconsciously I hear these artists in this timeless recording. Amazing how music and voices can echo through time. I hope others will discover this song through the years.

Marvellous to listen to the artistry of a great singer and an incredible jazz pianist - Bill Evans joined by perhaps the greatest the most versatile "jazzy crooner" ( I am quoting the NYTimes) that is the one and only Tony Bennett. He had so much to give, people everywhere on this planet were touched by his style, character, and musicality....!

I feel so good that I’ve done so many things that I’ve wanted to do and been able to even though I have five children I do feel very blessed to have done so much and I’m only 57. This song is true if you procrastinate .do the things you want, you only get one chance to do it then you’re gone do it now

Hamish Stewart from the Average White Band did this song at the 606 club in London last night. The words were profound to say the least! It was done with such grace and meaningfulness and the best saxophone I think I've ever heard. Beautiful song..........

Miles said numerous times late into his life that he could never figure it - Bill was always the straight arrow, Mr Dependable core of the Quintet's greatest days. They had all long since kicked and cleaned up by the time a middle aged Bill found himself probably more in the grip of his habit than any of them had ever been in their 20's. Just unbearably sad.
