Primeau is not a major concern for Mtl. He's likely not going to be there, Dobes will be given his chance as Fowler is likely heading to Laval. Dobes might be brought up early if Fowler ends university, signs and goes straight to Laval. Primeau and Montembeault are likely both gone in 3 yrs. Habs not making the playoffs this year and it won't be because of the goaltending. So people need to chill on Primeau, he's a backup making 900k.

Listened to the game on the radio - old school I know. I kept track of how often Dach was mentioned. Twice. The first time was when the announcers wondered what he was doing on the Coyle goal (Bruins 4th). The only other time he was mentioned making a pass. Not sure why people believe in him. Primeau needs to be sent to Laval to see if he can find his game. No issue with him clearing waivers. Although it would be extremely fortunate if he was claimed.

He is a serious drag on the team and not someone you want teaching young D. ALL the young guys are expected to make those kinds of errors not a veteran like Mike M. With the waaay Heineman is playing I would like to see him play with Laine (LW) and Dach at center (Dach was always touted as a playmaker not a goal scorer) with an elite goal scorer on both sides of Dach that could be an impressive line. We keep making the warm and fuzzy move instead of the shrewd and competitive one. 1. Not drafting Michkov because “he didn’t want to play for us” or because “he had too many red flags”. Idc, you have to take that risk when that talent is available. 2. We didn’t trade Matheson when his value was the highest. With his contract and him finally putting together a really strong season, we should have traded him but didn’t because “we have to have somebody back there” and “we’re too young”. We could have got a haul for him in the offseason.
