Who "gets hit by another car" and then leaves the scene to go to their friends house to use their phone? I just don't understand how someone can think that other people will believe such a stupid story.

@@Tom-kn6sr The car he stated he was driving I’ve driven before. 2001 Monte Carlo. As long as the engine is running and the car is in gear the headlights are automatically turned on, there is no turning them off like in the old days. I sold a truck, and cancelled my insurance as soon as the buyer drove off with it. A couple of weeks later, the buyer was involved in a hit and run. I only found out because my insurance company contacted me to find out what happened. The police pulled up the most recent information available. DMV records and insurance info had not yet been updated in the system, even though the buyer had proof he had registered and insured in his name at the time of the accident. These things happen. Not saying that was the case with these folks, but it does happen. JJ seems to think if she doesn’t know about it, it must not be true often times.

To be honest I believe the defendants are lying, however, I know a lot of black people that change their numbers constantly to avoid bill collectors. I have people in my family that change their numbers once a year 😫.

It's not just black people. You sound hella racist regardless of what your skin color is. No one likes bill collectors.

I’ve had the same number for like 10 years and I was even hesitant to switch carriers because I didn’t want to change my number. I switch when I was told I could keep my number. Now I do have a second phone that I use for bills collectors. Believe it or not I just think it’s wise to have two lines.
