For as little as you'll probably use your jack, maybe remove the drawer, store your jack in its original place and replace the drawer. That way you'll have more room and the jack won't bounce around and make noise and scratch the drawer up.

I hear you Aaron nothing gets the blood boiling more when someone steals your tools. Here in Hawaii most of our garages don't have garage doors. Mid 90's after getting laid off from Continental Airlines I worked as a mechanic for all the ground equipment so I brought all my tools and my huge toolbox from Mac Tools home and someone was really brave and backed their truck into our open garage and loaded everything up and just like that all my tools and specialty tools were gone. After that I got off the island and moved to Kansas my last duty station. Like yourself my first mods I do to my vehicles and home is security-related devices. Anyways stay safe out there and have a blessed day and I'm enjoying all your video's. Aloha from Kansas

Drug addicted thieves are close to the lowest of the low. I agree Aaron, stealing the tools by which a man makes his living just makes me ferociously angry. And the fact that many law enforcement agencies around the country are so underfunded that this kind of crime rarely gets dealt with only makes me angrier.

My Uncle was a union pipe fitter. Over the years he “borrowed” a bunch of tools from his employers, enough to have a nice shop by the time he retired. Then when he was about 70, he was in the hospital. While he was away, thieves broke in and stole most of the tools out of his shop. He was so pissed. As he said, “It took me over 30 years to steal all those tools.” He was a funny man.

We were at a doctors office the other day and the wife said that a guy coming in had opened his tailgate and pulled out a drawer and put his sidearm in there and locked everything up. I like the console safe because it is less obvious to open and put something in while not having to open the tailgate. There are several brands of console safes and they all seem to run around the same amount of money. Many under seat units also but most new vehicles have so much electrical equipment under there that the room is limited. Glad to see you have improved your ability to protect some of your belongings and to keep your waistband accessories protected while you are away from your Bronco. I got in my truck a safe also and a remote that kills the computer and disables it from starting and it cannot be hacked. You can replace the computer but it still will not start due to the back up installed in a secret location. Pretty simple. If it is tampered with and someone steals your keys you can shut the truck off remotely by internet and track where ever it is at. Anywhere in the world even if the battery is pulled. It will send its location for up to 6 months by battery a special little system and photograph you. It keeps a full log on operation and location, speed etc. Good mods on your Bronco. That is one nice Bronco you have. I have never had a problem on mine.

I used to grouse hunt a lot. I would leave my old Cherokee in very rural area's. I never locked it. I had only my dog kennel in the rear, for those muddy days. A cheap gun case, with empty choke tube case, cheap tool pack and stock radio. A few guy's I took hunting questioned this. I always figured it cheaper to replace a stock stereo than the glass. I did have my pickup broken into in college. The tint, cheap film type, held the glass together so well they ended up having to pry the sliding back glass out. This taught me a valuable lesson. It was deer season and a rifle behind the seat, radar detector, (for speedy trips to work) and a box of cassette. This has been a while ago.😂 After that I carry the minimum. If you leave a vehicle anywhere for a length of time, empty it out before hand. A little work can save you some possessions. Hope those thiefs get what's coming sooner than later.

I ran a heavy equipment rental company years ago. We came in several times to find batteries stolen out of equipment. Scrap yards paid about $8 for batteries. However, if the stolen batteries weren't bad enough, they would cut the cables instead of just loosening the terminals. New cables were almost as much as the new batteries, especially with the extra labor cost to repair. The last time it happened, the officer said that the person they believed was the thief, but could never catch died of a drug overdose that weekend. We never came in on a Monday morning again to find stolen batteries. I believe Darwin may have known what he was talking about back in the day..

As for the trash steering you might try adjusting the box, you very well could use a replacement, however for the rest of the viewers who need to remove an inch or two of slop, a couple turns of the adjuster on the steering box can make a big difference.
