Finding moki steps and using them to scale those cliffs sounds like an incredible experience! Foresty, you were truly following and climbing in the footsteps of the ancient inhabitants of those canyons! I wonder if it gave you a mystical sensation to be able to do that! We will miss you if you decide to take a little break over the holidays, but we know that you work really hard to produce these videos, and everyone deserves time off now and then. Of course, if you do get bored and decide to post something, we would love to see it. We can always rewatch all of your fantastic previous Foresty Forest videos while you are on vacation. There is an ancient Aboriginal saying, It's a Three Dog Night - meaning it's going to be a cold night. I also camp and adventure with a little mix Jack Russell, 11 years now and no matter how cold it gets I've never got a chill with that dog under some good covers:) Three Dog Night is also an awesome rock band.

Arizona is a great choice. It has many small and medium mountain ranges place a huge number of great hikes and many with great vistas across the desert. The north is cooler of course as is the east, due to altitude, but central and south have small mountain ranges with nice vistas and wildlife. Thank you for showing nice hikes in Arizona! To help the less fortunate I volunteer at the food bank regularly. We pack food boxes that are distributed in southeast Arizona, and there are people who give food on site. The food is provided by federal money. Although it is a big operation, the vast majority of food for the needy comes from other US Department of Agriculture food programs. Anybody can sign up to volunteer at many food banks, on their web sites. Demand is high. It is very rewarding, the feeling.
