All great songs with great piano! If A&A want to choose: The Way It Is is an insightful commentary on racial injustice; Mandolin Rain is a wistful look at lost love prompted by hearing bluegrass music; Every Little Kiss describes missing one's lover when working far from home (maybe an extended stint on a fishing boat). Another great window on Bruce's piano is the Chaka Kahn song "Love Me Still"-- absolutely gorgeous piano shares the spotlight with beautiful vocals by Chaka.

If you want an absolute tear-jerker, you need to listen to Just Like That, about organ donation. It won the Grammy for album or record of the year. So powerful!

America's Sweetheart. Saw her perform at a ski resort near SLC years back. When a lighting storm knocked out the resort's (Snow Bird) power ~20 minutes into her performance, she just picked up an acoustic guitar and sang louder.

I've been hearing her since I was a small kid thanks to mom's collection. She also loved Janis, Phoebe Snow, Joni - I think Tedeschi Trucks Band - Somehow is another mandatory listen.

Guys, so glad you did this, and of course - loved it. Couple of things, Bonnie's on the slide quitar - check out Love Me Like A Man from her. For writing try her 2022 grammy winner Just Like That. Or her biggest hit, 'Can't Make You Love Me' So many good choices with Bonnie and you'll love them all.
