One of the songs that defined my growing up in the 70s and 80s....it was played a lot and loved it then...and even more now.

I love this album so much! You need to think about this though, there's lots of great music from back in the day but, it is a finite number. Hitting a whole album at once is just wasting time. Besides, we want to hear your take on every single tune. When you do a whole album you barely comment on some of the tunes. Not cool, you're short changing us!

Did you get out of the wrong side of bed guys? - "S" all the way! Sartorial question - seeing as Alex is auditioning for The Village People lately, :) how about giving YMCA a whirl! or Go West, or In the Navy! They're all bangers!

Hands down, one of the sexiest voices of any singer I can think of. (Check out, "Ooh, Baby Baby"...) :thud

I was 9 when this came out, my oldest brother dropped out and went to Europe and left me his albums so I grew up listening to this. I still remember all the words. I'm so blessed!

50 years later, this song still stands out as an unrepeatable masterpiece, ... all of the greatest studio musicians of the era , Larry Carlton, Joe Sample, wanted to be involved with her music and play on her albums.... she had the pick of anyone she wanted,... everyone wants to be involved with genius..........

Guys, for iggy, I definitely recommend "Down On The Street" from the 1970 album "Fun House". IMO a real banger. Please check it

This was awesome when it came out and still is. "Purdy Little Love Song" is what I thought the lyrics were back in the day. I sang it that way for a long time!

'Tears of a Clown' is a great, great tune. Irresistible. 'Going to a Go-Go' is another; the Stones covered it too. Same with 'Harlem Shuffle', originally by Bob and Earl. So many songs and artists, so little time. 🤷🏽 😊🤙🏼🎶❤️🍁❤️✨️🕊

MOTOWN has consistently great hits. They have extremely inconsistent albums. MOTOWN was begun by Berry Gordy. Smokey is the next most important individual.
