Just came from office and saw the review is here! Agree with Hassan 100% Mehwish did feel repulsed thinking that Shahwar is not as powerful as she perceived him to be. She was taken aback that he claimed to be someone whose dhamki means something and now he is asking her to go plead in front of Danish!

Hello Hassan n Aamna, Regarding Ehd e Wafa, Shariq made his stand very clear that no matter what Ilyas s corruption is not justified.. Ofcourse Ilyas tried to justify his situation... So i think through Shariq, the drama does convey its stand on that issue ... Second, MPTH the point that Aamna made regarding the Allah Talaaqshuda Aurat dialogue, i totally agree with her... He made a specific comment regarding divorced women, and there cant be any context for it... It is a blanket statement the character is making as a generalisation for divorced women... Downright insulting, downright condemnable words used for women, what kind of generalisation is this?! Needs to be criticised in the harshest manner possible...

I agree on shariq matter they are highlighting issues that we face not justifying. If you saw that episode in which jajji pehlwan says "ja 10 daigain data darbar dy aa" means murdering someone and distributing food among poor giving himself relief. That's what we people do to justify our sins.

Mere paas tum ho: Story is now getting interesting. Earlier I was watching only for the performances and the dialogues. With Shewar’s wife knocking at the door, can’t wait for the next episode. This week’s episode of Alif was very moving, soul searching but I don’t understand, Do big film makers announce a film without doing any research or homework? Next episode will show Husn e Jahan’s spiritual journey. But where is Ahsan Khan? The title song is lovely. It seems to be in rhythm with the swirling dervish.

I think this is because Momin is shown to be arrogant and over confident and so he is taking it for granted that no matter what subject or project he does,people will be falling over themselves to line up to get to be a part of it. AND,and that his success is confirmed. He has depicted all those thoughts and emotions as phenomenally, as he has shown a bit of his vulnerability on seeing the letter box.

1: Hassan, I would like to point out one small detail about the issue you raised concerning Shariq's brother in law. What I believe they were trying to portray was the fact that despite being a good human being, a person is forced to indulge in illegal practices as in our society no help is provided to the poor. They tried to show that other than the corruption part, he is a perfect human being, kind and honest (where Shariq's sister points out how he keeps his word and fulfils his duties to the fullest) but even a person like that is forced to act in a way that is unethical, due to the lack of government facilities and injustice. But ofcourse its not justified and they do make a point of pointing that out through Shariq's tirade. 2: Yes, Mehvish did feel repelled. You are a keen observer, I must say. 3: The dialogue where Shahwar says Allah doesn't like women who are divorced should have been something like, "Allah doesnt spare people who make others suffer", because divorce is not the problem here(and it never should be), the problem in this case is how she deserted her own child and husband. I believe the goal of that dialogue was to tell that Mehwish shouldnt expect justice from Allah because if He takes notice of their case, it will be her getting punished instead and not the other way around. JUST MY TWO CENTS 🙂
@marryamshah49145 жыл бұрын
@@luqman24 I'm explaining what they tried to say. Not giving my opinion. Also, I never said its justified or that they are justifying it. They are merely stating a fact and showing how even a good person becomes corrupt, let alone bad people. No one is born bad. There are driving factors that we need to eliminate. And again I'd add, not justifying it :)

You guys are doing great job. I have one point to add to your amazing reviews. In Meray Pass tum ho, when Adnan Siddiqui said that dialogue about khuda doesn’t like women who takes divorce depicts the fact that he might have had gone to the same situation in his childhood or he has the same kind of baggage. Maybe his mother did the same thing when he was young. That whole conversation echoed from within his conscience. Do think of it. Otherwise I would agree completely with Amna. can we talk about the massive issue in regards to MPTH in more detail. Last episode there was a dialogue something on the line of 'larki, larki nahien hoti agar uski ankhoon mein sharam nahien hoti' when reviewing this through the lens of Islam, it's completely inaccurate; men are primarily ordered to have sharam in their eyes. Then, the divorce dialogue 'Allah doesn't like divorcees'...which you guys discussed perfectly in this review. To me, one of the massive problem I have with MPTH is the kind of misinformation they're giving to its already misinformed audience. While some viewers might easily identify such dialogues as problematic and inaccurate (Islamically or not), others will find a reason to justify their real life behaviour. Not saying every single dialogue on TV shows need to align with Islam but this kind inaccuracy is dangerous to the masses of uneducated audience. And wonderful review as always- huge fan!

It's poetic justice that Danish lost everything because of Shahwar and his riches, his wife left him for his money and power, and now after hitting rock bottom, Danish will come up on Shahwar's crash in the stock market. When Shahwar says that God doesn't favour divorced women, I felt it was a caustic remark to convey his annoyance and irritation to Mahwish's constant taunts about not being able to reunite with her son. And yes, there was a definite contempt in her eyes for Shahwar after she saw his feet of clay. Amna, please continue with the show in Hassan's absence. It was indeed very strange of Momin to have held a PC, with no details or clarity about the film. Premature enough to have alarmed everyone. Lively and lovely episode of SH. Keep rocking. Best wishes from India and loads of love. ❤️❤️

In my view your criticism on divorce dialogue is uncalled for. Here Shahwar is playing a kind of person who is aware of the right and wrong. Yet, he does wrong. And so he also realise that doing wrong and expecting Allah’s blessing at same time is not possible. His dialogue was in the same context where he asked Mehwish to not expect blessing from Allah while doing wrong.

I heard that Anoushay Abbasi is Shehwaars wife. Both of them had a photo together as well a few weeks ago and she was looking like she was in her role of mehwish

32:45 Hassan you are right.Jis context mai dialogue kaha gya hai usay uss aspect mai dekhain.Morever,yeh sb ko pta hai k Allah ny aurat ko talaq ka haq diya hai aur Allah ny isay napasandeeda amal bhi qraar diya hai.Amna is over exaggerating here.I am not defending Khalil saab here but this dialogue is all about talaq,s according to this serial perspective.Anoushay Abbasi Shehwar ki wife hogi.

I also agree with Hassan on shariq's sister and her husband . Our TV streaming is a big influence on our society . It is right to throw light on social issues and theses type of things but with complete disapproval.

I agree totally with Amna with Talaq dialog , and it’s nothing to do with Khalil ur rehman , it’s just wrong , Allah has given this right to every woman

1st of all I am a big fan of your review show..I wait for you more than I wait for the actual drama episode...You gave your thoughts and views on dialog "khuda talaq zada aurton se khush nhi hota"....Were as its "wo(khuda) talaq lene wale aurton se khush nhi hota"......

Love ur reviews!!! Always looking forward to them!! Just wanted to point out 2 things: Firstly,u said that they should condemn Shariq's sister's husband whatever his name is and that they were trying to justify his actions by talking about his wife's cancer and stuff but when Shariq's sister says kay 50,000 ki tankhwa main ghareeb banda cancer ka ilaj kaisay karwa sakta hai Shariq says kay is say un ki ghalti sahi nahi ho jani aur woh ghalat hi kar rahay hain or something like that so he was condemned, maybe not to the extent that he should've been but still. And also, the wife for whom he was doing all that died so that was punishment for his actions. Secondly, u didn't mention Saad's fellow officer Harris and his issues which, in my opinion, was also a key part of the episode.

Ehd e wafa Why s0 many new Characters are involved in every new episode? Bahi 4 characters ke story dekhae nahi jate itne characters naye le aye hain?
@mahnoorqureshi32815 жыл бұрын
Yes, it has become a hotchpotch. Barely a 30 sec. scene is shown and then it jumps to another poles apart scene which looks from another drama.

Bang on right I almost broke into frenzy of bad words for writer on hearing this dialogue about a divorced women. But then maybe we get to know shehwar has a problematic childhood n therefore he can't think right on this topic.

If you google MPTH cast, it includes Anushay Abbasi. So she must be playing the wife. She was also Afzal's sister in Piyare Afzal.

Loved the clarification on the 'sermon' thing in Alif. But u have to remember that Dada never gave 'Fatwas' to Momin i.e badluck will come ur way, if u don't offer Namaz and leave what ur doing. He critizized his ways, yes, fir him to amend his own ways:-)
