@@minoena Here's hoping COVID won't ruin plans for 9 years to come! Post-COVID, I should've clarified - sorry the pandemic's encroaching on your youth! At a minimum, I'd say be as physically active and outdoorsy as possible. Hiking, the beach, surfing, skiing, whatever nature nearby will allow. Then ensure you harvest your artistic skills, if you have any - they'll keep you both sane and interesting. Meet people, learn languages (it gets harder as you age), try new foods and drink, go out whenever you have the time and energy, even if it's once per month. You're also in the prime or near-prime of your looks (trust me), so play them up! Accentuate your best features because people are nice to you when they like the way you look. Then, get involved with a cause you love even if it's just an hour or two per week. Call your loved ones, talk to your friends. Complete some challenges. It's easier said than done but you'll find it's worth it. I know everyone is different and I don't know you nor do I have a crystal ball, but this is an amalgamation of everything I've heard from my friends in their 30s that they wish they would have done. You can do these things inexpensively. The general populace doesn't expect you to have it "together" yet, so if you need to job hop or serially date or move around, now's the time for it (again, post-COVID and only if it won't cause irreparable hardship). Avoid credit card debt, but allot yourself a small treat each week. And if you ever wanted to dye your hair purple or rainbow or gray, people will forgive you for it... for now. :-) Lastly, and most importantly: If you're feeling depressed, please seek therapy. If the expense is prohibitive, look into sliding scales or psychs in training. Crossing mental health hurdles will be key to living your fullest life. Much love!

I had one rule for my daughters: you are NOT allowed to find your soulmate in your teens. Nothing worse for a woman, in most instances, than falling in love and marrying the only man you ever kissed. Enjoy your youth while you are young. Nothing worse than a woman in her 30’s with kids and a husband trying to do what she should have done in her 20’s because she realised she missed out!

Only thing now is catch a bro before I take a nap... when I was younger the nap was to prepare, now the nap is to actually get in the bed..

I know this is a joke but alot of people don't see thirty because they think just like this video. I lost a few friends to partying to hard and just being out too much (wrong place wrong time 😞) at twenty you are still very naive and ignorant to the harsh reality of life most of us do irreversible damage to ourselves one way or the other.

I'm in my 30s and I did all that in my twenties. No kids!! I saw my friends get married with kids so young and they look so tired and miserable lol and compensate by bragging about how they are such a great parent. Lmao I've had fun without any consequences because I played the games smart. Now I'm 32 and winding down. Had my fun and I just want to relax, settle down with my bf and wait a couple more years to have kids. My mom had me and my siblings young and I lived off that experience and learned having kids when you aren't ready is selfish. I don't think having kids makes you grown. But some people have that attitude and I don't think we know ourselves or what we want until our 30s. At least if you played your cards right, you would have had all the fun and started a career without worrying about diapers. Life is so much easier!
@TheStonedPriestess4 жыл бұрын
@Unicorns First True but I'll take my chances...I still have time. I will get a home next year and will start planning for children after that. Planning is everything. If I don't make it, it's okay. I dont NEED to have kids.
