My biological dad passed away when I was 7 years old and I've had 2 very horrible, unloving and abusive step fathers. I'm 41 years old now and my mum has been married to her 4th husband for 12 years now and he's the best step father I've had. In fact, to me he's just my dad. i can't wait for the chill dude to just say "i don't care who my father is. I'm your kid. I just wanna be with you." I really like these. it shows yeah you might have a different father, but your "parents" are your real mom and dad. despite blood or lack thereof. You'll always have parents in your current parents, but it's okay to at least see your real parents. Just don't go there hoping for hugs and kisses. If they aren't in the picture they are probably homeless, drunk, drugged up or broke.
