This hit hard in all honesty. My dad has had a stroke and is completely paralysed down side and bed bound. My mum is awaiting a new hip and has very limited mobility. I quit my job and now take care of them full time. They wiped my arse for enough years, its only the right thing to do to care for them now. How someone can do this to a parent is beyond me. Utterly disgusting !! Fantastic work helping this guy out, this is what humanity is meant to look like !

Yes, very much so. Those two lost arborvitaes are another project altogether. Their trunks are extremely durable & straight & can be used to edge flowerbeds. The weeds are dead, but the grass is dormant and will come back. An episode like this drought has that much going for it I guess.

I get it. Dad was enlisted AF and has been pinching pennies for decades to get to this point. His savings was wiped out and credit ruined. To think, I told Dad years ago to take care of himself and use the money to enjoy his retirement years. He was saving for all of us kids and personally, I would rather know he lived a full life than sacrifice it all to pass down when he is gone.
