She, Ruth, is the same wonderful musician and pianist that I met nearly 60 years ago. She even baby sat for my then 4 year daughter.

To be able to hear and watch one of the greatest pianists of the 20th century is a marvelous treat and privilege. At nearly 100 years old it is truly amazing to still see her artistic genius bubbling through this diminutive dynamo’s hands and to witness, yet again, her love affair with music. Thanks Ruth.

What an indescribable delight it was to witness the divine artistry of living legend and celebrated master, Ruth Slenczynska, in concert again, at the seasoned age of 96! She defies all odds while inspiring and encouraging all who love music to continue to share their profound love for the art with others. There are no words to express my deepfelt gratitude. - Stan Ford

I so enjoyed that. At 96 her strength and precision of her playing was a marvel. Great left hand independance. Helped by her judicious pedal usage there was space between the notes which I loved the most. It seemed slower, but was it? Maybe. I just loved hearing it that way.

It was very beautiful. Even with the runs and trillers not perfect, she still makes the music touch my heart.

My late mother saw Rachmaninov play in the 1930s, so in a weird but warm way, Ruth is also a nice connection to her.

Wow did she really sight read this piece ? It looks like she is performance to concert grade by sight reading a piece she has rarely seen. That is remarkable on so many levels.
