I’m 62 and could never get the hang of this but even played slowly it sounds just the way it did when I first listened to it as a small child. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤🎉

Loved this song as a teenager but too difficult to play then on my own. Now I'm retired I've decided to give it a go with help. Thank you.

Wow, this is the must accurate lesson about the song. Sounds goods too if played with capo on 8th fret G chord form

Fantastic tutorial many thanks. I met Donovan in the UK in the 90s and I know he would appreciate this, well done for helping to keep this beautiful arrangement alive.

As a child growing up in the 60s, I was 10 when this hit the airwaves …..this was one of the most beautiful of songs by Donavan ……

It's also inspired that even some1 as good as yourself on guitar can make mistakes I've looked at Jonny Marr tracks and his strengths in arpeggios and the way he seems too be able too pick out certain strings at speed is unbelievable too me I'm 42 but I didn't start learning till my mid 20s and I learnt through online stuff like this and dvds

Thanks so much for this one! As always, I really appreciate your thorough and clear instruction, and am making good progress as a returning guitar player now that I’m retired and have time to play again. This one brings back the memories! And your tabs make it so easy to learn along with your great explanations. I really appreciate the way you break it all down into bite-sized pieces. Thanks so much! 🙏👍🎶

Great tutorial for a great song. I like the way you lay it out. Ive been playing for 25y and recently got my nephew a guitar(he had been bugging me for one). I had trouble teaching him and holding his interest, but watching these together really helps.

Bet you can't play "To Try for the Sun" as fast as Donovan does! That one requires a *lot* of practice!

Thx for another great lesson David! Could you look into maybe its time - Bradley Cooper, played the way Bradley plays it self om the soundtrack to the movie and not the easy versions, that lays om youtube. Merry Christmas 🎅
