Mufasa is the good guy; he's Simba's father. Simba is The Lion King! The original movie begins when Simba is born. Scar is Simba's uncle; he's the bad guy! I won't tell any further, or else I'll spoil it to you!😊😊

Technically it's not a sequel. It's actually a prequel. The story of Mufasa takes places BEFORE The Lion King, not after.

@@Theoneandonlydramaqueen. uh, it's actually just Rafiki telling the story, Timone and Pumba didn't know the story of Mufasa and Taka when they were kids. also it's still a prequel, since majority of the story takes place BEFORE The Lion King. so it doesn't matter who is telling the story, it's still a prequel

This is pretty much similar to wicked. Where we do follow the main story yet we’re learning the origin of iconic characters. So while we may be telling the origin of Mufasa and Scar, we are still taking place after the first film when Kiara is young and possibly prior to meeting Kovu.

Scar/Taka is the same Lion Taka turn into Scar and he's the bad guy Mufasa was Simbas father the King Scar/Taka killed. They never use Scars real name in the original movie he was always just Scar until the books or something like that revealed his real name was originally Taka

In the original lion king the main guy is Simba who is Mufasa's son. And Mufasa had a brother named Taka aka Scar tha main antagonist if the original movie. Also can you do a reaction on EPIC the Musical, By Jorge Rivera-Herrans. It has some incredible vocal performances.

Mufasa was the good king in the original, he was king and his son, Simba was heir to the throne of Pride Rock. Scar (Taka) was Mufasa's brother and was jealous since he was supposed to be king, he lured Mufasa into a stampede by using Simba, and pushed Mufasa into the horde of animals which caused him to get trampled to death. at the end of the original movie, Scar was knocked off of Pride Rock by an adult Simba and was killed by Hyenas (a lot of people think he got killed by the fire, but we literally see the Hyenas attack scar, he wasn't burned to death, he was killed by the Hyenas)

I will say the emotion stepped up in this one the first live action has no emotion at all but they retconned Mufasa's backstory of actually being royal blood

oh god audrey you are killing me 😅 but i think you should watch the original lion king before you watch the live action. this is a personal preference for seeing originals before live remakes to see what changed. i have several opinions but i dont want to spoil too much about the films

You should react to the spin of of the lion king called lion guard it's a pretty good series that's good pretty good songs in it. Or maybe you could react to the songs from it. Also the bad guy is Scar, Scars original name is actually Taka not Scar And in the future and Mufasa is the king before Simba, and Beyoncé did voice Nala in the live action .

In the Original Lion King Mufasa is the King and Scar kills him this trailer is stating that Mufasa was never in line to be the king but Scar(Taka) was supposed to be the True King until Mufasa somehow took that role from him and we find out that Scar and Mufasa weren’t related they just formed a friendship as kids and became Brothers🦁👑

Spoilers for the lion king series (movies and TV show) To sum it up mufasa was the "good king" he was simbas dad. Out of jealousy scar (taka) killed mufasa and chased simba away for years by gaslighting simba into believing he had killed his father not scar until simba returned because of nala finding him and asking for him to come back. Then scar is killed by the hyenas at the end of the og. Then there is a movie lion king 1/2 or something that is basically a retelling from i believe pumba and timons perspective (?) after that we get the lion king 2 which is the story of simbas daughter falling in love with one of scars sons from the outlands. That movie ends with the two surviving prides merging. Then we have the lion guard which was a show. It actually takes place in between the first and second movie timeline wise. And surprisingly played off why the main character (kion, simbas son) wasnt there when the prides merged in lion king 2. This movie is technically both a prequel and sequel from what ive seen. The prequel being the part of telling mufasa's story and sequel being the scenes involving rafiki and the others. Now to explain the plot a bit from my knowledge. I believe in some variation (not sure if it was og or not) this story of mufasa is canon. Again. Im not sure if it was actually related to the og film. But even if it wasnt meant to be. If u can make connections and explain it. It can properly be made canon. Not saying plot holes wont exist. They will. Thats the tricky part with making any type of prequel after its supposed sequel or original film has been released. U have to take note of every detail if u want plot holes filled and the rewriting if something doesnt align. Dont get me started. But no. It becomes a lot more difficult in my opinion if there are several movies. Plot holes but u also have to think about the time line. For instance the lion guard came out after the lion king 2. They had to as the characters grew to appease the timeline they wanted introduce these characters from the lion king 2 as sorta a first meeting, but also make an arc of why the main character wasnt present in the second movie. (Most likely he was thought of after the 2nd movies release) And to avoid these plot holes u have to try and note even the smallest details and where u are timewise. For instance the biggest plot hole i remember from the second movie and the series (its been a while so this may not be entirely correct) was that kiaras (simbas daughter whos name i finally remembered) reactions to seeing kuvo in the series (i believe she saw him in the series) was i feel to calm and unaware. As in the movie i recall her recognizing him almost instantly. (I could be wrong its been a while but my point stands) Theres most likely going to be plot holes but u cant do much. The best thing is to try and plan movie and tv show scripts somewhat in order regarding the timeline. Just my opinion though. Please note i dont actually have experience or great knowledge on the subject. These are my personal observations and summaries from what i remember
