Fun fact: Sonic 1 was made in Japan, but Sonic 2 and Sonic Spinball and Sonic 3 were all made in the USA. :) Sonic CD and Knuckles Chaotix were the other Japanese Sonic titles. Sonic 3D Blast was made in England.

I might not know anything about music, but what I do know is that notes are supposed to sound good. Maybe someone could contact the developers of this hack and explains to them they need to fix some notes in the coding.

I think part of it is that someone who doesn’t understand music that well thought “this is scary and dark and should be in the minor key” and either manually or set a program to change the relevant 2 notes of the scale to minor from major, not taking into account how certain chords work or that it’s not always in the same mode and it came out a disaster. Without a proper understanding of music theory, it sounds like a simple and good idea in theory, but ultimately, music is way more complicated than those two notes.

Any of you guys ever have that moment where you saw someone play a game and it looks so much easier when you're watching but when you actually play it's way harder? Yeah this is not one of those times. This already looks really difficult. I can only imagine how bad i'd do if i played this. Yet these guys are zooming past the stages as if it were the original sonic 3 and knuckles.

Surprisingly, the Angle Island act 2 Robotnik boss is almost easier than the original one. His tendency to fly upwards leaves more openings to hit him without getting hit by his fireballs.
