Didn't know that there are 8 3D Blast Protos, unfortunate that 7 of them are too big to give any special stages but odds are it'd be the same one for all or at the most 2 different stages

The July 3, 1996 prototype is taken from the duplicate ROM of Traveller’s Tales earlier game based on Disney-Pixar’s “Toy Story” film in 1995.

What if you tricked Sonic & Knuckles into thinking Sonic 3D Blast was actually Sonic 2 or Sonic 3?

Ignoring the 2 MB size requirements, if you modify *any* attached ROM that isn't Sonic 2 or Sonic 3 to have those serial numbers, S&K will try to read data from where it expects the data to be in Sonic 2 or Sonic 3, get the wrong thing, and eventually crash. (Usually without showing anything onscreen yet.)
