"fly in the freedom" is her song because she is an independent female that doesn't want people, she wants money, jewels and independence. making jabs at rouge is just fan servicing garbage, not to mention the abundant pedophiles that try to pair her with tails because it enables pedophilia. people make a slut out of Rouge because she is independent and pretty and they make sluts out of characters that are monogamous and ugly as well because people are disgusting. all rouge thinks is "too bad knuckles is kind of cute because im stealing his shit. gonna make that cute face mad in 3, 2, 1." just before the end of the game, she sort-of realizes the master emerald was something important and says "fine, take it back then." as in she wouldn't destroy the world she loves to live in over jewels even though she is conceited and independent.

At the end of the game, we see that video of Professor Gerald, and if you look in the background of it, you see that it is exactly the same as the prison cell Sonic was in. So Gerald was kept in that cell, and the equations were written by him because they forced him to complete Project Shadow from his prison cell. That was when he programmed Shadow to destroy the world.
