Sonic Adventure: My opinions of the Gameplays: Sonic: Best. Tails: Good. Knuckles: Tedious, but neat. Amy: Underrated, she's fine. Gamma: Fun. Big: Not as bad as people say, but... WHY IS THIS IN THIS GAME!? I LOVE SONIC GAMES WITH SO MANY TYPES OF GAMEPLAY! I don't mind the Camera in this game. It's not that bad. Tails, Amy, and Knuckles' Themes are my favorite Character themes. Sonic's theme is better in SA2. I love Hubworlds in games in General. And this game is no different. Even though the people don't say anything interesting half the time, I still talk to them anyway. Just to see what's on there minds. I do like Remastered Versions of games in general, for the most part. But with Sonic Adventure, I think I like the Dreamcast version more. Yes, the DX version technically looks better. But I think the Dreamcast version has a charm that the DX version can't replace. And yes, I prefer the Dreamcast models for the same reason mentioned above. I don't care how bad the Cutscenes are. It was 1999. And they are GOLDEN GLOBE WORTHY compared to SA2. Especially since the music isn't that loud. About 50% of the Citizens of Station Square did survive. Stop saying they're dead. They survived. And the city was rebuilt later, Tails chipped in. Open Your Heart is better than Live and Learn. The Sonic Adventure story is one of my favorite Sonic stories out there. It's so good. The whole "the level plays itself" Sections, not just here, I mean all the Sonic games, I enjoy them. They're cinematic and great.

Exploration in a sonic game is to change the pace of the game, If all sonic games just had running only, it would get boring and too easy, and this game is called Sonic "ADVENTURE" and it wouldn't be an adventure without exploring

The Dreamcast version may run at 30fps, but I feel the Dreamcast textures look better. The Gamecube version always has bright textures but lacks dynamic colors and in some places they removed some texture layers like on Red Mountain which has grass on Dreamcast. The Dreamcast also has a really neat lighting system which the Gamecube version scrapped. If you plan on playing the chao garden the GC version is far better. I usually recommend people play the Better Adventure mod for the PC version as if gives you the DX chao garden, the DC textures and lighting, some of the DC DLC, still runs 60fps, and the bonus of being Super Sonic in Sonic stages. The only downside is the lack of tiny chao garden though there are mods to add the jewel chao and even the DC moon chao if that's the reason you want it. The only way to have tiny chao garden (as far as I know) is to play the origin GC version or an emulated version of it as I don't believe any mods to play the tiny chao garden on PC currently exist. PS: the BA mod fixes the DX related glitches which tend to be related to set pieces not working right (loops, ladders, the wall next to the first loop in the game, etc). There aren't that many but I do remember there being a few which were much more common on DX or even only possible on DX. PPS: I never had the glowing door bug you had, puhaps it's a rare disc related bug like the rainbow Big model I believe SomeCallMeJonny had. PPPS: If you start Super Sonic's story the game will save Eggman and Knuckles on the ground in every other story as long as you leave right after seeing that cut scene or do a single level and then switch to any other story. If you play a Knuckles the Knuckles on the ground actually responds to your button inputs, and yes this works in all versions of the game.

Just play the Dreamcast version... the DX port is riddled with bugs and the new models and changes to the physics are awful. The Dreamcast version looks, controls and plays so much better

alex magee gameplay 2 Battle cutscenes look actually better. In that level where Eggman traps Sonic in the capsule, In the dreamcast version, Sonic doesnt walk onto where the capsule is. In the Gamecube one, he walks onto right where the trap is.
