Sonic CD (JP) - Boss!! - Oscilloscope Deconstruction (Project Files in Desc.)

It took a while but here's the next track we've managed to create. Lots of findings were made over a short period of time that allowed this to happen. The key sample that I'm sure a lot of people are wondering about is the near-gibberish at the end, which is sampled from Daddy Freddy - Talking Beatbox (ft. Pat Kelly). It's actually Jamaican Patois which is why we couldn't figure out the lyrics for it until Google Assistant made it possible to find. Bass and brass are recreated, but besides that, everything here has its original source.

Part of why I started doing music research is because I was listening to a Carpathia808 Sonic CD deconstruction ~2018 and being bewildered when I heard that there are some people who remake video game music and then upload it. Because I don't quite fully understand how oscilliscope deconstruction works, I'd like to ask something: Is it possible to extract vocals only, without needing to take the time to extract the entire song? If so, then can we have a compilation of all the vocals from all the Sonic CD songs? If not, Can we at least have that when you (eventually) extract all the songs with vocals first?

Vocals are extracted using a combination of manual isolation (EQ, Mid-Side separation, etc) and AI (lalal.ai or mvsep). I publish the project files and samples used for each deconstruction/remake in the description of each video, so as more songs are remade, more vocals are extracted. The songs themselves are recreated manually by finding the original instruments and transcribing the song. That process is fully divorced from extraction of vocals.

Splitting the side channels from the center channel with Bertom Phantom Center and going through what we have documented to look for presets. The crowd noise was found when we discovered Sound Ideas Series 2000 was used for the bird calls in D.A. Garden.

Sadly, most of D.A Garden/Dubious Depths' instruments sources are still unfound, so there's no way Nuclear could recreate it. So far there's only the snare, birds sounds, bass and piano.

It's really interesting to see how all the parts fit together. I'm guessing all of these are separate files saved in-engine, and then which one is playing is maybe programmed into the engine itself, which allows you to mix and match a bunch of shorter sound files to make something that, over all, is a much longer song. That's just speculation though, I don't know too much about it.
