I like that the things changed was an image that was previously the scariest part of the "game" (Now adapting the "trying-too-hard" look), an Easter egg, and... Let's call it unnecessary voice acting. Yet 'Crimson has kept a fairly iconic laugh that completely ruins the experience (at least for me) rather than changing it to something else more... Obscure? Heck, a stock laugh would be better, it'll fit with the screams.

In short they should be both creepy and believable like Polibius or Lavender Town Tune for example were. I heard about those long before I learn about idea of creepypasta. But when creepypasta start be popular some people start collect those, and because of large number of kids try have own pasta, genre was simply flooded by shit.
