Nah, episode 1 physics were pretty meh but these are just like the classics. I really enjoy playing as classic in this game. More than I did in the Sonic 4 games, actually.

@@ctpp64 he does have consistent momentum in this game though, and it's a good thing his jump is heavier because it feels more like he's spin jumping (more realistic physics) and not just flying up.

Why do people hate on the music for Classic Sonic? I agree they aren't as great as the tracks for Modern Sonic and the OC (Lost Valley and Moonlight Battlefield just to name a few), but there are some good tracks for Classic Sonic's stages

Fun thing I've noticed: The phantom ruby is present in both forces and mania. Perhaps the portal classic sonic came out of is a non-pixelated version of the mania ones? Maybe it happened somewhere in mania and we never noticed because it just cut to when they were back, which was probably the same time they left? Hell if I know lol

I cant say puttinf classic sonic in the game is a sin by itself, but they really needed to do it much better for it to work right. First of all, if you completely remove him from the plot and just say Tails went rogue after Sonic was captured it makes zero difference. Second, the OST, holy shit it has zero personality, especially compared to the rest of the OST, probably the best overall in a Sonic game. And I don't think I need to mention, the controls and levels suck. It feels like Classic Sonic was added at the last minute
