The fact that you did all the Milestones for 1-2 is beyond impressive because it's hard enough for me get an S rank. To do all the Milestones in one run is too much for me. 😄 A job well done. I'm using this to get all milestones for the Cyberspace stages so I can get the all the keys faster for the Chaos Emeralds. Right now I started a second New Game so I can have Save Slots for the Titan Bosses on level 1, Giganto, Knight, and Final Boss, I'm gonna use my auto save for Wyvern. In case you haven't heard of this trick, you quit the game before you land on the new island, that way you can still have your auto save for the Titan Boss. I'm also not trying to get any red/blue orbs because if you go to the Hermit/Monk you automatically turn in all the orbs you have. This is just in case I want to level up to a certain level without going overboard, if I want to make Sonic slightly stronger. I'll still have my level 1 Saves but just in case I'm avoiding the orbs.

Stages 4-2 and 4-9 do have elements from Speed Highway Act 2 from Generations and City Escape from SA2 (Skateboarding section)

I just beat the final boss an hour ago! I love Frontiers! One of my favorite Sonic games alongside Sonic 3 and Knuckles!

Yeah Sonic 3 and Knuckles had more story in game then in Sonic 1 and 2

Can I be honest? Barring the fact that the Cyber Space controls and physics aren't completely fine tuned, I think these mechanics are the most satisfying I've experienced in 3D Sonic in a very long time. The way the Boost works, in particular, makes me feel like I have to be smart on how to use it, as I can't just bowl enemies over with it. Combined with the Light Dash, Stomp & Bounce, (and Drop Dash in some instances) it feels very rewarding to speed run these stages.

3-4, 3-5, & 4-5 Green Hill reminds me of Windmill Isle Act 3, Savannah Citadel Act 2, and Cool Edge Act 4

From my observations, the Cyberspace levels are heavily inspired by Adventure 2, Unleashed and the first three stages of Generations (both Acts).

I honestly wish they would've brought back the actual stages they took inspiration from like Windmill Isle, Green Forest, Radical Highway, etc. Still though I look forward to play the Cyberspace Levels.

Cyber, did you find getting the S-Rank in 1-2 to be extremely tight? It's wild considering how much wiggle room you have in some of the later stages.

It was a bit tight for sure while first playing it. But with many strats and videos out now, its a bit more tamer. Especially with the Homing Dash tech.

I enjoyed the ones that focus more on the 3D style, but not a fan of the 2D sections. It reminded me of how much I don't like classic Sonic in modern Sonic games.

Yeah I'm not digging the soundtrack here either. They're some good ones, but majority are forgettable techno music to me. Frontiers soundtrack is kinda a downgrade tbh.
