Sonic Frontiers: Better Character Models Gameplay

yo hey it's really cool to see a presentation of my mod, but honestly i'd preferrrrr changing the title from "better" models. this was purely a personal project of mine to give them a look more in line with what *i* like, i'd hate to give off the kind of impression that this mod was made just to go like "heh lemme show you how it's REALLY done, sega". comin' off like i got a big ego ain't my thing

Definitely get this, but also they honestly *are* better lol, and I don't think it's egotistical at all to say that (it's not like it's a high bar to begin with). Incredible work here dude, the game feels so much more right like this.

Nah they're better bro lmfao the Forces/Frontiers models have something wrong with the facial and hair proportions so anything fixing that issue is automatically better. I'm sorry that you feel bad about being better than some of the model designers at Sega XD

I really like your models man, but yeah, thanks to the title, many people unfortunately think that you called the mod that way when that's not really the case.

Understandable but if we're being fair, Frontiers is unfortunately just part of its own Big 3 with Forces and 06 for the modding scene. All that means is most mods for these games are marked improvements over the originals. I think now that the over stayed honeymoon phase is finally over with Frontiers, people are beginning to see the many faults with the game so a lot of these mods are being viewed as genuine improvements. While we can argue merit and details all day, you should be proud of your creation as you sought to change something that bothered you personally but turns out are not alone in that way of thinking. Unlike all of us, you put in the effort to make something of it so while the title of the video isn't accurate to your feelings, I think the reality is that people liked what you put out and would've said your models are better anyways

I really like this model the longer quills,the darker fur, the curve of the muzzle, his ball animation actually looks like a ball of energy and not like a cutout with a ball and a spike tapes together or like Mohawk Sonic, it looks dope! 💯🔥 And don't even get me started on the Sonic Adventure super quills it looks immaculate. 😭 I even saw the changes within Amy Tails and Knuckles, and it's amazing. Why can't the Sonic models look good anymore! After generations? They just went downhill.

I guess the Adventure-era look for Super Sonic isn't cutting it for me anymore unless its the SA2 version Knuckles looks way better now that the top of his head doesn't look like you could eat off of it, though

I did notice Knuckles' shoes, when running to save Sonic, looked shaped more like the movie Knuckles shoes. I don't have an issue with the original shoes and I think it's unnecessary but it's not bad. I do think Sonic looks cool when preparing for Sage's laser. And Knuckles looked cool running up compared to the original. I guess I would say overall I do like a lot of the shots more this way. Even if there are still nitpicks. But that's the artist in me. Nitpick, nitpick, nitpick. Wouldn't have made these model adjustments if someone didn't nitpick. lol

I look at it this way. It’s accurate to the transition between regular SS and SS2 in DB. When they go SS2, their hair gets even sharper and spikier.

This should literally be what they look like they ARE older now I mean sonic might be 17 or about to turn 17 when this game came out I mean his deep voice also Amy matured as well which is why sonic is starting to open up with her almost to the point where in a hard to trigger dialogue in the game he says I wish I could have told you sooner Amy which means he wished he would have asked her out sooner also tails might be 13 or 12 so his original character is fine and so is knuckles original character but definitely Amy and sonic needed new character looks

Tails is 8, sonic was originally 15 to 16, 16 since Sonic Generations birthday, so yeah, maybe 17 Meaning at most tails is 10
