I saw it several times as a kid and it just lives free in my brain as a random bit of trivia I never thought id use. It’s not even a great joke in the show it came from, so of course Chris found it hilarious.

During 2004-2008, Chris started copying Megan's interest in anime, such as Sailor Moon, Yu-Gi-Oh as well as learning about Pretty Cure in 2004. But issue 5, Wes still evil, Sarah reduced to a damsel and the role of sweet heart was replaced by his sister (foreshadowing), and Megan during issue 5 and 6 In short of this information dump -Chris proving the comic steering more from Sonichu and more his real life issues -makes everything in Issue 2 non important as Chris breaks his own rules - Magagi will have the worst character decay

It's no sequitur after another. Chris is a fan of Family Guy, so I think his writing style got influenced by the clip scenes? Except instead of a clip it's just words? There's also the possibility that these were all obscure references that someone back then would get. okay this is gonna sound really stupid but it just hit me that the radio station in the comic is using the wrong starting letter as part of its call sign. so cwcville is supposed to be in virginia, right? since it's to the east of the mississippi river, the station's call sign (aka those 4 sometimes seemingly random letters that a local tv or radio station will announce or show about every hour or so) should start with a w. but instead it starts with a k, which is normally the call sign for stations to the west of the mississippi. while there are some stations that are exceptions to this rule, those stations were started before the 1928 regulations that made stations use w or k depending on what side of the mississippi they were on were put into effect. iirc, there's no way this station would be old enough to count as an exception since the town was apparently founded sometime in the 80's. a dumb ramble? probably but hey, now you know a little bit about call signs.

Oh god, I actually have a "being hit on at the supermarket" story!! (Sorry if this is long!!) Okay, so I had just finished my shift at my retail place. (Unpaid voluntary work) So I popped into a supermarket next door literally to just grab dinner before I caught the bus home. For context, I live in the UK, not the US, so I think its not much of a thing here. Anyway, I had my earphones in, listening to music like I do when im on my own, and out of the corner of my eye, I see some random dude sidle up next to me. No words, only he gestures for me to take out my earbuds. Now, I've never seen this guy before in my life, and he looked like some discount Snoop Dogg. No offence to Snoop, of course. But dreads, backwards cap, baggy trousers. Probably a gold tooth. Maybe discount Lil Wayne. I thought he wanted to ask me for a cigarette, so I took out my earphones to find out what he wanted. He hands me his phone, telling me to hold it. Confused, I do so. I stand there holding this random dudes phone, until he asks me for my number. I try to give him a fake number, but he takes his phone out of my hand and calls it in front of me?! Also he was making gestures as if to say "f you" to someone behind me. It was so weird and out of nowhere. I ended up making some excuse and booked the hell out of there. To this day, I still have no idea what he thought I would think?? Like, hello? I'm not Mila Kunis, and secondl, I'm the shy weird nerd chick who's straight edge af, why would I go out with discount Lil Wayne??

Chris butchering the rules yugioh is painful. Bare with me I’m about to 🤓🤓🤓 “ummm achtully” real quick. Creature swap REQUIRES both players to have a monster to swap to begin with, and it requires the swap to actually happen, within this context only Wes isli has a monster on his side of the field, therefor creature swap cannot be activated. But Lh, I hear literally no one cry, as I’m the only one bothered by this at all, technically Chris and Wes isli are monsters, they got effects and everything! Very estate literally nobody, but this just means Wes isli automatically will target Chris as the monster he takes control over, (remember the effect is mandatory you can’t opt out of it) so Chris should just teleport to Wes in this exchange and then Wes can just… steal bride chick back… what I’m trying to say is Chris is bad at yugioh and doesn’t know how cards work.
