When they started making movies where the monsters were real, it was an awesome change from the previous formula.
@Lucasfan3752 жыл бұрын
Another reason why these four movies were so awesome, was because it was animated by people who worked on anime. Which is why it looks very anime inspired. The style that it. Also, the monsters being real shook things up. I just wish Scooby Doo would go back to being like this instead of whatever they're doing today with the same tired formula.

God! Just to be able to go back to this era again. Before social media completely took over and you didn’t have online streaming services so you had to go to your Blockbuster or Hollywood Video (that’s what we had where I’m at I don’t know what others had) to rent a VHS (DVD wasn’t even an everyday thing yet back then until 2000s and even then you chose VHS or DVD). Back when you couldn’t talk to some box named Alexa or Siri to tell it to do stuff for you. You wanted to turn your lights off then you stood up and did it. There was no online gaming. If you wanted to play a video game with a friend you were in the same house with player 2 controller plugged into the same console, playing on the same TV. Going a little older you didn’t have the ability to go to your TV guide and select the channel you want and see what was on and see the next 24, 48, 72 hours in advance.. Oh nooo you had two options A: you pulled out the tv guide paper, or B: you put it on channel 2 (help if I’m wrong it’s been over 10 years) and you watched those channel numbers and shows slowly go up the screen until it reached what you wanted, and if you missed it luckily you only had roughly 75-80 channels to go through (mine was 65,64,63 the old Cartoon Network, Disney, and Nickelodeon channels). Maybe this is a personal thing but people didn’t lose their minds over political stuff. Like, if a democrat won people didn’t lose their minds and vice versa if a republican won people didn’t lose their minds. Nobody rioted, nobody set fires, and looted businesses, and destroyed property. Perhaps because it wasn’t being filmed and broadcasted for all to see but I feel like the hate wasn’t there. Now people had problems but people didn’t hate each other for no reason. As a kid we had toys r us. Imagine your 8 years old in a building with nothing but toys and games. It’s childhood heaven! Also no cell phones and those that did have one there was no internet capability on them. You had call, text, and the few games that came on it. Was my (our) upbringing better than kids of today? Absolutely not! Just like generation before the 90s wasn’t better and so on.. it’s just how it was. You didn’t think about it, it was just how it was. If we had, had online gaming in 1999 we’d of done it too but it just wasn’t there. If you were 10 years old in 1989 and wanted to watch a movie but had to rewind it you had to actually let the tape rewind to the beginning but hell yeah they’d if loved to have had DVD feature and be able to just go to scene selection select the beginning.. but it just wasn’t there. So no generation is better or worse than the one before it or after it!! ITS JUST THE WAY IT WAS
