Congrats on that beautiful shiny! I managed to get a shiny Litwik in White after over 12k encounters; it's by far one of my favorites in Gen 5. Now I'm hunting for Shiny Axew :)

Oohhh congrats!! I kinda love this type of hunt to get the eggs to be shiny, it feels more like hunting for the shiny savefile than the shiny Pokemon. Did a few of these to get a shiny Paras in FR and one for a Gastly that I did a poison-only nuzlocke with, and it won me the league! Definitely a cool way of hunting. I got the Gastly at over 9K, but I don't remember how long Paras took.

I have a question about shiny hunting with an action replay, for example, if i got the AR card for my Gameboy SP and Sapphire & choosing Jirachy to be spawned in the grass, is it possible that it could appear as a shiny? Funny story bout that comment. I actually did get a first encounter shiny poiple in ultra sun, powered through the story so quick didn’t even really care bout the Pokémon wasn’t until the anime when I saw ashes poiple and went wait mines white.
