I Hunted Every Shiny Roaming Pokemon

After 3 and a half years, I completed my quest to find every single Shiny Roaming Pokemon in Gen 2, 3, 4 & 5. I've put together this supercut for you all to enjoy and watch at your leisure.
In total, I did 103,891 encounters for all 17 (not including the Gen 5 pseudos) with an average of 6,246 per shiny roamer. Underodds for the win!
The highlights of this quest were probably the Entei in 100 seen in Crystal along with the Suicune in FireRed. The Lati twins in Ruby and Sapphire too. I'm really proud of the Gen 3 Roamers in particular. I feel like they're still super difficult and take a lot of attention to hunt.
The low point was probably the Latios in SoulSilver. I don't really know why but I really disliked that hunt. I'm usually one to double hunt with something else on the side but that hunt was difficult to match something to. It felt like it dragged on a lot. Sometimes a hunt just doesn't agree with you I guess.
Generation 2 was insane. I absolutely had luck on my side when doing these.
It doesn't feel real that it's done, it's over. I keep forgetting it's finished. It'll sink in soon.

The absurd amount of mental fortitude is inspiring I’ve never been a shiny hunter I felt it was a waste of time. But I got inspired to start two days ago I’m up to about 12 shinies in that span. The grind is exhausting and demoralizing but when you finally get one it’s so rewarding especially when it’s one of your favorite Pokemon. I naturally gravitate to fire types because red was the first game I ever played but that’s shiny suicune holds a special place in my heart because of all my runs in crystal version where it became my ace beside typhlosion. Keep up the good work man.

You were actually the person I watched to see how to hunt my shiny roaming latias. I got super lucky with it. I didn't count, but it was probably only like 500 resets. Mine's in Heartgold and I caught it with a premier ball. Congrats, all these take forever to hunt but are very cool.

An amazing and incredible 3 and a half year journey of dedication, determination and triumph. Not to mention you hunted all the roamers in one system and that to me, is admirable and respectful :) Wish I could've done this quest alongside you having conversations and sharing opinions (if possible), but my hunts in progress, college time and the need to upgrade my setup made it harder to catch up and now you're done with it and I haven't even started. I still have the sheet you shared with me years ago with stats filled with zeros, hope I can change that soon when I finally get the chance to commence the quest.
