SONNING PLAYERS ON RANKED with GOKU SSJ4 on Dragon Ball Sparking Zero

4ku is a pretty solid character overall, he's just unfortunately stuck in a game where a bunch of characters have far more grimey kits. Like in what world is a sparkless version of Power Up to the Very Limit that literally only lasts 5 seconds worth using? That thing needs to either be a way bigger boost or serve as an instant spark if it's gonna cost 3 skill gauges. Hell, I'd even take a lower cost with the same effects. No reason it can't be a 1 bar buff if characters like 19 and Super Kefla can gain super armor for 10 seconds at the cost of only one bar with False Courage.

The issue with the skill is that it's cost is up there with the more oppressive skills like instant sparks and AIS while having worse effects. The skill should have lower cost for how short it lasts or should give a boost which justifies the short timer and high cost.

@JahovasFitness Maybe use the skill when they have one or two bars. I just don't think people have fully explored every skill in every situation. I do understand how it may not seem like it fits, but I'm sure someone else will figure it out and it'll be broken. 🤷‍♂️

I main my four all time favorite characters in singles, Bardock, every version of Trunks, Future Gohan, and Ssj4 Goku, and occasionally play Jeice and Zarbon. The amount of times I get plugged on by people playing top tier characters is literally insane when mine have no dirt. I went from A3 to A5 today cause I accepted my losses but 90% of my wins were plugged on by fusions and its honestly disheartening. I love the challenge, but If I beat you with straight hands, the least you could do is accept it. I hope they fix it soon. Ranked is a chore.

So put me on some game guys, Afterimage Strike can be countered with high evasive manoeuvres if you don’t have a Wild Sense type ability activated as well. So initially I usually countered with Hit having Ki Clone, his own afterimage strike basically, and was decent at keeping track of the 15 second timer. My issue is that because you’re in the heat of battle with a rush attack followup, and sometimes a Ki blast streak can momentarily hold them up, it builds back skill points for another activation of AIS prolonging the game. Attrition ends up being the counter, but what would some of y’all recommend for the blight that is this broken cheesed out move? Cus I’m not losing S Rank and I’m on the road to getting Z Rank before month 1 passes and never touching Ranked Singles again 💀

Dealing with unblockables from Jiren and Z broly are really weird. After instant transmission I just ki charge and change planes (get beneath them/above them) and then z fly away so their ki blasts won’t lock me in block stun. Currently playing Vegito blue a lot because the full power buff really helps kite z broly morons and after image strike players, but I’m also thinking of trying characters with IT like blue Gogeta (yeah, I like my fusions I’m sorry)

Fun character to use has been Janemba. It could just be me But his vanish is so similar to the movie vanish that it just works more than it should literally exacrlt like Janemba in the movie against ssj3 goku. He also kind of has buu combos where some of his hits come out so fast you can’t super counter

using abilities kindof leave you wide open if you miss and use up a lot of ki. that ki could be used for vanishing and dashing and other stuff that is kindof more important which doesnt leave you completely defenseless. And since you normally have more ki since you arent using abilities, you can normally always apply pressure

@@doncooli0 i did enjoy 1 vs 1s at the start,when the game was fresh, but then when meta came out, i kept playing muten into GGSSJ4 and Ultra Insticts and well i switched. I do not like playing the op characters unless i struggle to get them (like doing a fusion or going thru the transformation phases mid game), i like that the characters that can transform can be killed before doing so, it balances the thing out.
