This is amazing content! It makes me realize why I hated these lifts at a crossfit gym years ago....because they didn't have a clue how to teach lifts like this. And most of us just are not going to be proficient in 1 crossfit class.

I think a lot of people don't understand that the shoulder/clavicle groove is what does most of the work receiving the bar. That's why many people catch the bar with their hands instead. I receive the bar up against the bottom of my neck with the fingers used as a backstop. Whenever you see people front squatting and the bar is rolling forward and down the shoulders, it's because they don't understand how to latch the bar in that groove.

Warming up good before racking the bar @ the near lowest point of the front squat while the upward inertia has stopped is all about the CNS being dialed in from years of doing this...for myself I'm 62 & after a decade of only R&R this is hard to do with 75 pounds for ten sets of rapid doubles over a half hour. Why cant we see us old beer belly has beens doing this ?
