I totally, totally loved this movie. I was so disappointed it was only like 3 episodes! I wished it was more because the cast was so wonderful. I think it's Ben Barnes best role to date honestly.

Me too. I wish they would do a sequel. Wonderful in every way!

Those actors personified the men that wrote history of this country with big words. Those men were not men, they were giants. TURN is a nice serie too.

If this series was made to make The American Revolution interesting and pivotal in stirring up pride in our country then, JOB WELL DONE!

Jason Omara is awesome as George Washington. Wish they would do a continuation about Washington "commander and chief" but the whole cast is great! God bless America and freedom for all mankind!🇺🇸

Proud to be American. This was a great series, wished there was more too. We forget the British of the Eighteenth century were much different than they are today. They looked on their colonies as less than British. Big mistake for them, good for America, I would not want to be British today. Britain lost their empire and status as a great nation because they less than valued their colonies. Would America be as great a nation and leader it is, or would we just be like Britain today if we did not rebel?

@@rpm1796 that didn't work out so well for the redcoats. "How the British Army Lost America but Learned to Fight" is a completely untrue sentence and shown to be false by the author himself in the last chapter of the book. Let FREEDOM FOREVER RING

Love this miniseries. I know there is some elaborate story telling. The house John Adams lived in was incorrect. It was a saltbox, no front porch. Besides that, I loved this story

It's been a long time since I had any pride in being from Massachusetts, this series gave me hope that maybe we can come together again this time against our own over reaching government

Yes, it is kind of ironic isn’t it? Massachusetts was essentially The birthplace of America. And now it’s become a graveyard Where everything we fought to become as a nation Has essentially disappeared.

Curious that the show was siht canned after a few episodes, like the story of the Sons Of Liberty is not something THEY want trumpeted or celebrated.

TRUTH right there and the reason so much energy was put on by TPTB attempting to character destroy people like the Founding Father, Son's of Liberty, the Green Mountain Boys, Daniel Boone and the like. Its deliberate no doubt.

The show wasn't canned, it was a miniseries only meant to be 3 episodes long.

They weren't rock stars, or 60's angsty wimps; these were men. They were actually willing to fight; they didn't wave signs, they didn't go to Canada to avoid the draft. These stupid counter-culture comparisons are ridiculous.

Clayton, I agree. The 1960's were a counter-revolution against our main Culture, which was still somewhat in place. Sure, things had gone awry ever since the late nineteenth century, and these 1960's spoiled radicals were just cementing or adding to that late nineteenth and early twentieth century 'progressive' Marxist design and 'reset'.
