The A6700 is the newest A6000 series camera from Sony, replacing the old A6600. With so many new and improved features, same price as the old camera, what more could you ask for?

I've been through a succession of Sony APSC mirrorless cameras, over many years. They've all been good cameras that produced very good images. Each new camera was an improvement in one way or another. Currently, my main camera is an a6600 and my back up is an a6500. I really like the a6600 and have enjoyed using it for the past few years. All that said, I rented an a6700 to try for a week. It's much better in many ways and now I'm saving up to buy one. I also, previously, rented an a7RIII for a week. It is a very nice camera and I enjoyed using it. But, I'm not sold on moving to full frame. APSC does everything I need and I already have quite a few high end APSC lenses. I definitely will be getting an a6700, when I can.

The photos that you took with the A6000 are beautiful! Were they processed individually or with a preset, and do you have a larger collection of these photos somewhere? I would love to see them.

Hey, thanks. Unfortunately, they were just my old personal photos and weren't very well archived so I just grabbed them from my iPhone photo library. They were all edited individually, some were jpgs straight from the camera.

9:55 which mode did you shoot the 4K 24 in? Was it 10-bit S-log XAVC HS? There are many conflicting reviews on this topic.

I did a test last night on this. 4k24, slog3, XAVC HS, 100M 4:2:2 10 bit and ran for 1h41m before I stopped the test. I was on battery but I intent to use a dummy battery most of the time, so this was enough to give me confidence I won’t run into an issue.

is it worth upgrading from a6400? i'm a hybrid user. i don't record long videos so the overheating doesn't bother me too much.

I guess the most noticeable differences would be 4K video specs, less rolling shutter, and the bigger battery. There isn't a huge difference in still image quality.

Pop up flash and dual card slots cameras do not exist. Different markets.... I think Sony got it close to right, single slot (should have been a single cfa slot) and small add on flash features are made for high end apsc shooters.
