You are doing review without doing calibaration and finishing it with app which is most important step for this system to work properly

Dude you must do the calibration and ambiophony process , just got the Bar 8 with RS5 and Sound field does not work properly if you skip that. Bravia app works seamlessly and I'm really happy so far, even with music.

No Arc on your TV ? I hope you ended up moving those speakers a lot further apart or it's no surprise it didn't sound great. System also is miles better with a subwoofer added and shines more on the movie side of things.

I don't have space for it and I don't have the subwoofer. I'm sure is a decent system but for the price, I'm keeping my JBL setup, which sounds better and is way cheaper. Thanks for your feedback.

@@AndyCostaFilms I hope it was a review unit then. Seems pointless buying it just to send back if you never had the space. That's also the point of this system to make the fronts and rears wide to create a big sound bubble which extends further than a soundbar could.

I am an Amazon Vine reviewer and I get the product for free in exchange to an honest review. My listening experience will be the same to everyone else that has the same setup. But, if Sony is willing to send me the subwoofer and spend a few minutes with me clarifying what the ideal setup is, I would be more than willing to review my review.

You are the only person I know who had a problem with this unit. I heard it's close to the Nakaimichi dragon in immersive sound,? I don't think you did the set-up correctly 😢
