Love your presentation. You're one of the most underrated people on KZbin. Wish you'll get more and more viewers in future

Thank you very much, this means a lot! I try hard to work on getting my videos out there, it can be disconcerting though with the lack of traction I seem to get, hopefully one day though 🤞

Hi Shane, have you decided what nd filters you are using for this lens? Would you do a video on that and how to shoot long exposure photography with this lens?

I have not purchased a set yet but I think I am leaning toward the sensor-side filters because of their lighter weight. I absolutely can make a video on the filters and my experiences shooting with this lens :)

Hi Shane. Great video once again, as usual. The more of these lens videos I watch, the more confused I get on what to eventually buy. With my travel 1" sensor camera, the built-in lens has an equivalent of 25-400mm, of which Lightroom shows that an excessively high percentage of raw's were shot at the 25mm wide end. This tells me that I really wish that it had the ability to shoot wider than 25mm. Once I upgrade my travel camera to a Sony full-frame (would be much easier to do if I stopped buying Caribbean cruises for my wife and I..) I was primarily thinking that the 16-35mm would be what I would go for, and if I needed anything wider than 16mm that I would just try to shoot a pano, although panos are more difficult at very wide ranges due to convergence distortion. Having said that, I also doubt that I'll have much use to get down to the 12mm end on the 12-24mm with the type of photos that I enjoy. Perhaps I'll have to try to rent/borrow the 12-24mm for a weekend to see what I think. Stay safe! Cheers from Kingston, Ontario.

Thank you! I find the same, with most zoom lenses I use I find myself shooting on the extremes of their range, like 75% of my shots on this lens are still at 12mm. I would def recommend renting it first if you can just because of how niche it is

I would probably use a ND filter that goes over sensor. I’ve used a filter from Kase which I purchased from Amazon. I’ve heard good reviews from STC filters and it also goes over the sensor.

Ha, I'm sorry 😅 I was the same way for a long while, I finally caved. I'm sure you gathered by the video, I pretty happy with it at least 😄
