Pretty much and firmware updates are not that common on cameras like this. Possible 1 or 2 if we are lucky....

Whats the difference between proxy recording and dual recording?

talltomtroyny excellent question!! Sony actually explains this really well here: www.sony.com/electronics/support/articles/00188689 Basically proxy is a higher bit rate and retains the time code data and frame rate. Dual recording is a more basic file ready for upload to social media, and does not have the time code data, or necessarily the same frame rate. Dual recoding is set hard at 30p, where proxy matches frame rate exactly.

What is clear image zoom ? Is that a digital zoom ? From what I've read elsewhere, it is a digital zoom, and is it better than what I'd expect from other cameras ?

Yes, it's a digital zoom with amazing quality that is so good you can't tell it's a digital zoom. It's only available in jpeg mode though, but I highly recommend leaving it on and using it if you need more zoom ;) It has another digital zoom beyond that, but that quality is noticeable degraded in comparison...

I’m gonna use this camera under water. Would it be possible to put colour presets in the my menu section, so i can go allready a little more to the magnenta when filming and taking pictures? Would it be possible to do that under water?

Well, you can add the WB setting to the my menu and then change it for underwater color. You can also use the memory recall feature, which I highly recommend, and set the camera up exactly how you want it for underwater and then just set the camera to that mode when needed.

The six would be a better travel camera for the zoom this camera is built for travel. With the new iPhones I can get great camera shots that will rival the RX 5 but I can’t get zoom on a cell phone so I’m leaning toward the six

Yes, I agree, but the cell phone you can not get that awesome background blur no matter what you do. You need the large sensor for the "real" depth of field effect. Cell phones are amazing today though, no doubt!! Thank you for the comments Scott ;)
