There's a better way to do this! Open Pan/Crop on the logo, right-click and select "Match Output Aspect" and then resize and move it.

Good tutorial. But I wonder, how do I put a border around the cropped image? When you make the image smaller by increasing the size of the whole picture (as shown @1:15) the border also "increases" and ends up outside the image

Could you help me with this? All I want to do is add a very tall image, that scrolls from bottom to top. I figured out the Pan/Crop thing, where I can set it to scroll over a period of time, but since the image is so tall, when I dragged it onto the timeline, it resized it to fit the video, so now I am seeing a veeeery thin image in the center of my screen. I want to resize it to be bigger, and then simply scroll in from the bottom to the top. For the life of me, I can't figure it out. Thanks for any help!

Is it split over a bunch of separate clips? Because of the clip is cut at any point it will end. You will have to do this individually for every separate clip

@@HeadbanginZombieGames Thanks. What I just found was that the clip doesn't stay after moving it. In your video, your one stays where you moved, but mine doesn't. It returns to the original spot after 1 frame. I didn't use key frame though.

i know this is late reply but to help you with that, (if you haven't discovered it yet) you need to add a video track for this image alone. then on the left, there is the time for the whole project and all the tracks beneath it. look for the track you created for your image. once you find it, there is a small icon (the second one that has an arrow in a box) it's called track motion. click it and adjust the size that you need.

Why does your webcam just start in the top left. Every time I add an image then try to move it around it slowly drags around to where I want it when I preview it. Why does it always pan around instead of just being still in the spot I want it?? Removing keyframes didn't work and there's not a real pan setting. my aspect ratios are right and its clicked maintain aspect but like is that even why its panning?? so stressful for no reason. How can I not just put an image where I want it on the screen.

Whew eventually figured this out. Changes have to be made at 00:00 for them to start there. Editing definitely has a learning curve there's so many buttons and techniques to learn.
