It's still good. The only thing is the operating system doesn't run as fast and smooth as the newer ones. But it's fine. It works 🍻

I own both of these and really can't tell much of a difference. It's a toss up because the 900F has better contrast, but the 900H has a faster android system and HDMI 2.1. To me it seems the 900H gets brighter.

Super review comparison. On xf90 is just blooming craziness could be better. And on android 7 nougat (X9005F) factory FW is brighter but slower. I have X900F and i'm happy. Thx for video.

Thanks for this insightful video. Do you still have these 2 TVs? Which TV looks better to you when you watch HDR content on it? Which TV do you feel gives you the better overall picture quality?

Hello there, yes I do. I still believe my X900F produces a better picture and has better picture quality. X900H comes very close. My 900F cost more than my 900H. The processor chip cost more and is better than the newer model.

I owned a few tvs over the last 4 years. Q6fn, Q8fn(Q8DN in eu), X900E, and X930E, KS 8000, and now the x900h 85inch, 'cause I wanted a bigger screen. Movie Picture Quality --> sony x930e is the best, hands down, crazy bright ,very good blacks, natural colors and x1 extreme chip. 2nd --> A very slight advantage of the q8fn over the x900e, sony looks more natural, samsung has more brightness, way better blacklevels (local dimming) and contrast but does not look as natural as the x900e. But when it comes down to sony x900e vs 900h. For me personally the x900h is the better pic, for that reason alone , that it's local dimming and dark room performance is WAY better than the x900e, I was very funny to me , because on RTINGS, it says the sony x900e has better contrast, thats bull. I owned it long enough to know , the sony x900h wins big in real world content. Black borders in movies are way better with almost no blooming, compared to the x900e . Every time when a bright object came near the borders on the x900e, they lid up and went grey. That pissed me the most when watching movies (and the x900f is worse than the x900e in that regard). Another difference , the Image on the x900h pops more, maybe it is not as refined in terms of depth and shades of color, but that difference is marginally. When comparing the x900h vs Q8fn. the biggest difference is brightness. Q8fn has crazy pop and brighter colors, but for movies it's not accurate. I was very suprised when I was comparing those 2 TV sets. Especially in blacklevel performace, they where almost identical , with the x900h sometimes even being better! The biggest complaint I have with this tv ,is the removal of smooth gradiation... why sony? it's not that bad but i don't understand it. 2nd is the "fake" upscaled 4k 120hz image. If you have a ps5 i woud say it's neglectable. but if you're a hardcore Pc gamer, and you get a (bit better) 1440p image with the performance hit of 4k, it's a dealbreaker. For me that's okay, 'cause there is no perfect tv. I got my 85inch x900h for 1850$!!! and that's a hell of a deal for this TV.

i have x90f, is it worthed if i upgrade to x90h ? probably i need to spend 300 usd to upgrade

For me personally I don't think it's worth the upgrade unless you play a lot of gaming on the new ps5 and xbox then probably a good idea

Less brightness results in less blooming. Not necessarily a bad trade off as the x900h is well balanced.
