andrzej703 at the bottom, there are different versions. There is a speaker at the top, and one at the bottom on the front, but that's for calls i think, not the actual speaker.

The m4 aqua has a single speaker on the bottom of the device, not duel speakers like the z3, also they make a 16 gig version of the device selling for 300 in Canada.

i have this phone for about 6 months now and i'm sending it away for repairs tommorow about a month ago i started having problems with it it began with the ear speaker not working anymore then the microfone stopped working and now the loud speaker has stopped aswell also it started randomly restarting itself i have never dropped the phone or put it in water so the fact that i am having these problems is not due to that i also have a case around it and there are no scratches on the screen (just some small ones on back wich might be because of dust thats between the back and the case) i had a lot of sony phones in the past and i never had any issues with them so i am pretty dissapointed about this one

Very suprised at their camera verdict. I would expected better from Sony, however I know some reviewers can be over fussy and over critical, so I would look at other reviews and maybe a demo in store before buying. Not too worried about snap dragons and lollipops, chips and all that jargon.

There is a certain model of the M4 Aqua with 16GB storage if that's what you're looking for. If you want to check the waterproofing just search up IP-68 Certification on Google.

Yeah some times youtube videos will crash the phone (ie the phone won't respond for about 2Min) also I can't record or take photos because the phone is supposed to be waterproof. But my camera (front & back) have got water in them so photos are blurred

BzERK IE well the thing I did is I took phone to service and they found the problem and let me change my phone for m4 aqua or for other. I definitely realized that this phone isn't good cus it was twice at the service and I have chosen huawei p8 lite. It is cheaper than aqua and I can say it is much much better. I've had this phone and the iPod touch 5, and it would actually be a downgrade. For some reason the performance on the M4 is absolutely terrible. It can't run games without delays, lags, or overheating. However, it's a cheap solution if you're just using if for calling, browsing, music, etc. This phone does have a larger screen, louder speakers, and a good camera so I think you'll find yourself using both devices.

+Seth I can recommend you the Samsung galaxy j5 for that, it's even cheaper than the m4. I think that the camera is even better than that of the m4 even though it's also a 13mp. The battery life is also better.

Well in terms of specs the s5 is the best choice and it's also confirmed that it will be getting the marshmallow update, it doesn't have the updated touchwiz ui which the j5 has but i don't think that it would be a problem in terms of a smooth expirience. So if you can afford it then go for the s5 but if you can't then the j5 would serve you nicely too. Keep in mind that there mifht be an updated version of the j5 coming out some time this year with more ram and internal memory but nothing cinfirmed yet.

the camera is bad because it not only records above water but underwater too so it has to adapt to both environments. also the sound isn't amazing because it is waterproof!

good review.. but the phone has one of the worst user interfaces among all the smartphones recently available in the market... battery backup less than a day if used more intensively.. charging takes too long...over two hours... user settings limited.. only plus point is sleek design and good hardware. . Otherwise a total disappointment.... needs a lot of improvement... hope Sony will rectify the defects early..

this phone is very bad do not buy it it runs nice first 1 year than slowly dies from boot loops or chipset failure this p hone is completely sponsored and dosent perform how it performs in video. The original phone is completely thermal throttled meaning the cpu listed and the gpu listed is at least 30% weaker. And later on the phone starts to get issues such as speaker problems, booting problems and so on leading to the phones death after warranty. This phone is the king of crap quality. "good hardware" that must be a joke as the parts in the phone shit quality Xd

update: this phone works well in sauna. I suggest putting it in the water bucket because I don't think its 100 celcius-proof phone. and just maximize the speaker volume so you can listen it even when it's in the water

i had to choose between s6 and m4 aqua for upgrade.. i chose s6 edge cos it's very popular but after few days, i returned it cos it has crappy retarded typing keyboard and very slippery phone.. it freezes when you do multitasking. So, i had to get this phone cos it's very simple and i didn't have to pay a dollar for the phone cos it's a cheap phone.. good camera (has stabilizer), runs same speed as s6(from what i experienced).. the only good about s6 is the fingerprint..
