The only thing I wish Sony would improve on was Hdr. I don't think anyone beats Apple on that category. Other than that, I don't like the over processing of images from any smartphone after using Sony devices after a long time. Feels off for some reason.

HDR? Even Sammy owned Apple in terms of HDR, Let alone those Chinese Flagships, Its an overkill

Sony seems to be going more for a traditional softer video/film look with their cameras. This is something I see from the ZV1 and ZVE-10 too. It's a similar look seen from their cameras used in TV shows and movies. HDR does look amazing on the iPhone display but for myself it's too realistic. Reminds me of watching soap operas or sporting events on TV. Even the default recording on the iPhone's video is 60fps which is something similar to what they use. The great thing about files from Sony Xperia line smartphones is that you can improve them a bit more in post editing unlike the iPhone's mov files. They seemed to be almost maxed out and I have very little room to improve them. But that's only using the REC709 color space and MP4 format.
