I’m actually looking forward to the ZV-E10 mk2. I have been using the ZV-E10 since it was released and still use it even though I have the Fujifilm XH2, Sony ZV-E1, and Nikon Z8. The size of it just makes it a great camera to carry anywhere. If the 4k60, 10 bit 422, and improved auto focus are true, then this will be more than enough for me to upgrade. Thanks for the news.

the mark 1 was a camera dedicated for vloggers at the core, sure it has attracted the more enthusiast type of buyer, but i'm quite surprised that lots of the mark 2's upgrades are kinda more in-depth stuff that are less important for vloggers and casual type of users. 10 bit, 4:2:2 chroma subsampling, focus breathing composition, they don't add viewfinder, do they just shift market altogether towards entry level videographers?

i hope it's not going to be overheating, plan to use this as a streaming/recording cam for our dj sets. So that might take a few hours per night. Might just go for the zv e10 because that seems to be a very solid option for the cause i tend to use it.

Unbelievable that its specs are less impressive than the DJI OSMO3 which is what all the VLoggers are currently using (at a recent event almost all invited influencers carried it as their B cam)

Yep, this is the measure that all others will be held against. The pocket three is an amazing camera and would be my first choice in this segment.

The fact this camera is apsc and can change lenses makes this statement false - at least in my opinion. I guess it just depends on what your definition of “vlogging” is though.

@@TakinProfitthe DJI sensor and lens are just so good… alongside the stabiliser… it hits a ‘Goldilocks’ point for vlogging. Microphones are great too. You’re right, APSC is a much more flexible proposition - but you need more accessories, cost and futzing to get to where DJI is out of the box.

@@albedo0point39 I don’t disagree with anything you’re saying. At the end of the day, it just depends on what you value more. As good as the pocket is - there’s just no way to replicate the look you can get on apsc with a fast 1.4 lens with a 1 inch sensor. For a lot of people - the pocket is “good enough” and for some, it’s not. The main sell of the device for vlogging is the gimbal , but for my style of videos, I’m mostly stationary, so the main selling point is of little use.

I have the E10 and it's a great little camera. It's also collecting dust on a shelf at my home. After obtaining the Sony FX3 and FX30, plus the Canon R5 and R8, for stills, the E10 hasn't been used in probably a year. I also obtained the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 which is an amazing camera.

The initial specs are pretty impressive! Nice travel camera! TBH, the price is in-line; personally, I have no problem with it. The cost of manufacturing has gone up. All these features for what you get is really good.

Fx30 and 6700 line-skips 1080p. Also both can do 4k120 but with heavy crop.

Not a big fan of heavy crops... Still get a nervous neck flinch every time I recall the 1.7 crop on old canon cameras.

@@OrdinaryFilmmaker i normally am not either, but I actually am in this case. I love watching sports from a distance and the crop actually helps! The uncropped 60p is good in instances if I need to go wider but still need slomo. Also, I tend to use fast primes on crop sensors so the 120p is more than usable.

The biggest threat to the ZV E10 II is the DJI Osmo 3. Even Sony is concerned by the popularity of the Osmo.

This is true, but in low light, the OSMO is much better due to the larger sensor. In low light, the iPhone video capabilities aren't good, but for stills, its pretty damn good.

@@OrdinaryFilmmaker Main issue of the ZV-E10 is the fixed focal point. But other than that it makes great images. When i compare i to the ZV-E10 + sigma 30mm lens, the difference in picture quality is extremely difficult to notice.

Just a thought about your issue with wheat. See if you can get a hold of some flour made with the original long stalk wheat. I forget the name. That may set better with you. Also I would be concerned talking about the 5th Dimension on YT. You make get copyright strikes if you do. Be safe.

We have a lot of rice flour options here, and we are able to make bread with it so we will stick with it for a while, but will keep long stalk as an option ;) Thanks. How can extra dimensions be an issues for KZbin, its standard M-theroy, a subset of string theory, and has been for a while with there being 11 theoretical dimensions. We have not evidence of what these other dimensions might be, and even if they are there, but there are some good theories.

Ahhh, you never know with the world these days... I don't keep up with what's going on to know what is forbidden discussions or not ;) I plan to take more shots this spring. I don't take nearly enough. I might take out the 100-500 next. I love the 200-800, but shooting 1/2000 of a second is a challenge with a base aperture of f6.3. Its at times like this that I understand why we have lenses like the 100-300 ;)

I don't know that. I do know that the site is accurate at reporting camera registrations. They have also been correct about announcement dates. They represent 1.3 billion people so the numbers with a large camera industry so just playing the numbers, it's not surprising they have some leaks. Is this one correct ;) We will see.
