Good tips! I totally agree, it’s not the perfect camera but it’s very good. I’ve been using the “add weight” tip from the get. Sometimes I collapse my cheap tripod down to its smallest length and attach the ZV-E10 to it and walk around like that and it makes a huge difference. In a pinch it lets you get good results without having to resort to active stabilization or catalyst.

Thanks for this video, I did a review on the ZV-E10 and did not recommended for vloggin / walking since on my footage it was unusable but it makes sense because of its weight and my hands are shaky so the footage looks pretty bad. I plan on getting a gimbal to help with this.

Cool video as always. I’m about to grab a top handle grip for my a6400 to help with that camera shake, but I’m also really getting a good mastery of getting smoother shots with just the camera and no accessories. Good practice for when I get a heavier setup, it’ll be even better. My Crane M2 really helps a lot as well, but I find myself hardly using it anymore. Only when I feel it’s absolutely necessary. Hey Rock! I personally would recommend the Meike Battery Grip for the A6400. The reason is because it offers a few advantages rather than just one. 1.) Since it holds TWO batteries, It adds considerable weight to the camera! 2.) It holds 2 batteries! This means DOUBLE the time that you would normally get with one battery! 3.) The grip is GREATLY improved if you are hand holding the camera! 4.) Batteries are able to be QUICKLY changed due the pull out drawer style battery holder. There are more benefits for photography but I figured you are mostly shooting video. If you refer back to the video I made named "Can You Shoot A Wedding Solo (Part3) - What Gear To Use!" in the description you will see a link for the Meike Battery grip I use! I hope this helps! I'm putting some money aside at the moment for a second camera, and still deciding between the a6600 and the A7C, which would open a whole 'nother can of money worms because my lenses then would have to be replaced because they are all crop sensor lenses, but in any case, for now, this battery pack sounds awesome. Great tips in this video. I do think you should let your viewers know that the smallrig cage, while great, removes access to the hot shoe. That's a major flaw in my opinion.

Hello ! Very nice video :) I really enjoyed it. I was looking for a solution to rolling shutter. I wonder H many ppl bought the cage it and really made a difference (I am not talking about mounting stuff). I am trying to find a video with setting for outside use. To go out with family and get pictures/videos fast without having many issues with movement and light. Even if I put auto ISO it does not always work well. Thank you in advance !

1. For sit-down 4K KZbin videos indoors with slight movements in front of the camera (camera is on a still tripod), would I face rolling shutter problem and my video becomes shaky?, or it only happens with handheld videos? 2. For sit-down videos, ZV-E10 with F1.4, or ZV1 would be better?

Answer to question #1. No. Rolling shutter is only seen when panning the camera quickly or if there is an object moving quickly horizontally across the screen. Answer TO question #2. F 1.4 is the aperture of a lens, not the focal length. The ZV E10 is going to give you MORE versatility when it comes to lens selection. Ask yourself WHAT you will be shooting to help you determine which camera is best for YOU and not just which camera is better. I hope this helps! How to adjust the audio settings to get rid of the white noise produced by an external mic from the ZV E10?

If you are getting hiss (noise) in your audio, you may have the mic gain turned up too high in the settings. Make sure your camera is in VIDEO mode, Press Menu > MOVIE 1 > PAGE 3 > Audio Record Level and adjust it accordingly. Refer to your microphone's user manual to adjust any gain or frequency cut controls that your microphone may have. I hope this helps! Thanks for taking the time to watch and support the channel!👍🏾

Hi, i just got a ZV E 10 and I've noticed that my footage doesn't look sharp even in intelligent auto. Both photo and video are not as sharp as my nikon D5600. What could be the reason for this?

There could be MANY reasons you aren’t getting the same sharpness. 1.) Lens 2.) Lens settings like aperture 3.) lighting (not enough) 4.) Shutter speed too slow 5.) Focus mode not set up correctly 6.) Shooting in low quality jpeg mode Auto is going to be the worst setting to get any consistent quality from your photos. This is because the camera is mostly focusing on exposure more than anything else. I hope this helps.

Depending on what you are shooting, I honestly don't think rolling shutter is as big of a problem as it's made out to be. As described in the video, there are workarounds if you happen to get some distortion from panning too quickly. Thanks for watching!

I have a few questions. 1.) Are you using and external microphone 🎤? if is so, it could be the shielding in the cable is of low quality or is damaged allowing interference to get into the cable. Also be sure the cable is plugged all the way in! 2.) Do you have the camera plugged into power via usb when recording? You could have a grounding issue between whatever your usb cable is connected to while being injected to your camera. 🤷🏽‍♂️ 3.) How are out verifying the noise you are hearing? You mentioned it’s there BEFORE you record and during. This could indicate an issue with your headphones 🎧. It could be the shielding in the cable of the headphones aren’t fully plugged into the camera. Verify that you are ACTUALLY recording the noise by playing it back on your computer. I hope this helps! In order to resolve the issue, there are a number of questions that need to be asked. 1.) How long ago did this start? 2.) Do you have audio when you play back the clips in camera? 3.) Have you tried swapping sd cards? 4.) Do the videos play back with no sound on your computer? 4.) Have your setting in your editing program changed due to updates or any other thing? 5.) Do you use an external mic? 6.) Does your external mic have batteries? 7.) Have you replaced the batteries in your external mic lately? Some of these could potentially lead to the problems that you are experiencing however, without knowing these things, diagnosing the issue is difficult. I hope this helps. I am not sure off the top of my head. You may want to do some research to make sure the correct amperage and voltage is being used when purchasing adapters and batteries. I hope this helps!👍🏾

Great vídeo. I just received My zv E10. Is it normal if you gently "shake" the campera with the kit lens, the lens make noise like is not properly attached? mechanic noise i mean. It works good but this noise since i opened up is killing me. Also when i zoom in at some point make noise while moving.

🤔 I don’t have a kit lens. There are moving parts inside the camera that “could” make noise if you “shake” it be I haven’t noticed anything out of the ordinary. I would have to hear how loud it is. Of you are coming from a cell phone, this will be totally different than any mirrorless or dslr as far as noises go. Did you attach the strap? I hope this helps! There may not be a problem to “fix”. When you power on your camera, several things are happening from a self test to adjusting aperture and focus in your lens. I would say as long as the camera is functioning properly, you more than likely don’t have anything to worry about! I hope this helps! 🙏🏽

Hi, I just got a ZV-E10 and I use it for live streaming and use a Sony dummy battery and do not use any SD card as I record on OBS. The problem is that I put all my settings in video mode under manual and then I turn of the camera and start again and all my settings are lost and the camera start in intelligent mode and even when I change to manual mode I have to put in all settings again. Am I doing something wrong? Please help

It sounds like you need to actually save a preset in the memory of the camera. Put your camera in "Video" mode press "Menu". Under Option 1 , select page 3/11. Select "MR Camera Set. Memory" Here you can save your settings. To quickly retrieve your settings, press the function key and navigate to the "Shoot Mode" and select "MR1" This is where you will find your saved presets. If you get stumped or confused, you may want to refer to the User Manual for specific detailed instructions.😃 Thanks for watching, commenting and supporting the channel! 👍
