@@ebinesvthundupurackal7446 honestly the best part of this movie was how it dint overly romanticize everything in the 90's and showed the good sides and bad sides. They also showed the bullying, the inability to leave girls who reject you alone (shown by how that guy defiled her cycle and even pissed on it), the homophobia, the girl who wore modern clothes getting molested. That's what was so great about this movie, because things back then were definitely not perfect, that time had its own shortcomings and things weren't necessarily better for everyone. There were good things and bad things then, just like how there are good things and bad things now, don't romanticize and overlook the dark side and problems of the 90's time period just because of nostalgia. Personally I would rather live in a time like the 2000's where people are becoming more open minded, understanding of women's freedom, sexuality ect.. than in a time when societal mindset was so narrow, girls had limited opportunities and constant moral policing, people with different sexualities couldn't express themselves, etc., etc...

no, the best part of this movie was how it dint overly romanticize everything in the 90's and showed the good sides and bad sides. They also showed the bullying, the inability to leave girls who reject you alone (shown by how that guy defiled her cycle and even pissed on it), the homophobia, the girl who wore modern clothes getting molested. That's what was so great about this movie, because things back then were definitely not perfect, that time had its own shortcomings and things weren't necessarily better for everyone. There were good things and bad things then, just like how there are good things and bad things now, don't romanticize and overlook the dark side and problems of the 90's time period just because of nostalgia. Personally I would rather live in a time with phones and selfies, than in a time when societal mindset was so narrow, girls had limited opportunities and constant moral policing, people with different sexualities couldn't express themselves, etc., etc... I agree things are not pure and perfect now, but they weren't back then either.

whyyy !?!? He thinks that its ok to defile the cycle of a girl who rejected him , and even goes as far as o piss on the cycle. He never even suffers any consequences or backlash for that incident, which was just so morally wrong. In the end he does change, but he should have been taught a stronger lesson about what is ok, especially in our society where girls who reject boys are in actual physical danger(for example the rampant acid attacks for rejection).
