PSA is a great company and I want to give them support. Saw on their site or in an interview with a rep that they see their mission / purpose as arming as many people as possible, with quality firearms, as there’s some legal opinion in courts which states the government can’t ban something that is widely owned or is in common use. That’s brilliant and people should support them so they can prosper and grow to put more money into r&d ... Maybe 10 years from now Sootch will be reviewing the “PSA Claymore” - .Barrett 50 cal clone.

What they don’t realize is that PSA will NOT do military contracts, they have decided that they are building for we the people. So we are their big contracts! How much is Sig selling the p320 to the US Military for? Around $250-ish. That’s why we pay $600-how ever much you want to spend. Not an inferior gun, just a true factory direct price.

I think they are fine. I got a basic model and it works. Bought it from a friend that wanted a nicer gun. A gen3 Glock is what it is as far as a lot of more recent guns to come to market. I carry it on my ranch in South Texas. Why? Work on a ranch is hard on footwear, jeans, shirts, vehicles, gloves, people, and your sidearm. We have illegals trapsing through and trying to destroy and take your "stuff". You have to stay armed.....always! I view guns as tools, especially semiauto handguns. Can I shoot it accurately? Yes. Is it reliable? Yes. Does the trigger work? Yes. Is the trigger something to be a deal breaker for me? No. Do I trust the gun? Yes. I probably have somewhere around 2000 rounds through mine training. With the artificially depressed prices for livestock to the processors, money is tight, very tight. (that is a topic for a different time).

In addition to the existing Compact Dagger and Dagger Full Size - S (G19X/G45 gen3 "clone"), PSA is making an announcement regarding the Micro Dagger (G43X "clone") this week! There's also talk of something "BIG" coming this week. We're expecting the .22 LR Dagger any day now (originally slated for October). And we know there's a Dagger Full Size - L (G17-length slide assembly) in the works.

My Dagger trigger from the factory is much nicer than the trigger on my Glock 17. I love the Dagger grip with the palm swells and slimming work, with the bulge at the rear if seams like a different angle. This grip makes it much easier for me to shoot well.

I'm not sure why people associate PSA being affordable as being equivalent to low quality. I have a few of their platforms and they've outperformed the gucci platforms in accuracy, reliability, and durability. People are just used to getting grossly overcharged by other vendors. I have picked up name brand items from them for 15-20% less than what other big name vendors are charging. They aren't a "budget" vendor, they are honestly priced, the other guys are gouging

I have both Glock 19 Gen 3 and PSA Dagger. I swapped slides to see what each would do. The Glock slide on the Dagger performed as it should. The Dagger slide on the Glock did not. With trigger pulled and racking the slide, it would not reset, as it would the opposite. So, in my opinion, Glock slide on Dagger may work, Dagger slide on Glock may not.

Haven't been able to buy a blue label Glock locally for over a year due to limited availability so I got an optics ready Dagger with side cuts and stainless barrel and ten mags during current Memorial Day sale for $399. The ONLY issue I've ever had with my Dagger is that it doesn't like steel cased ammunition. Aside from that, it's performed flawlessly.

@@DivA98 The main reason to use steel cased ammo is because it's usually less expensive than brass. As far my Dagger not liking it, I've had a lot of failures to eject. Steel casings expand like brass does when the powder ignites, but it doesn't shrink as much, or as quickly as brass does. The chamber part of the barrel is probably just a tiny bit tighter with the Dagger than with my Glock.

We know the Dagger Full Size - L will have a G17-length slide assembly and will be based on gen3 parts. However, we don't know the exact form factor. There's a rumor something "BIG" is coming this week. In addition, PSA is making an announcement regarding the Micro Dagger (G43X "clone") this week.

I own many Glocks. No interest in Gen 5s though. I thought the Dagger would be an interesting range toy project and currently own two. The first has a standard slide with an RMR cut. The second slide has a PSA SW1 that I had machined for a deeper RMR cut. I'm anxiously awaiting the Dagger Micro frames to come available.

@sootch00 Thank you for the up and personal and breakdown. I didn't know that the frames were basically Polymer 80 frames (no molded in rails). Now I see how they've cut costs so much. Of note, from my experience with P80s, if the rear rail tab isn't aligned/tuned correctly it can cause malfunctions over time. Just something to keep an eye on as the round count goes up.

A lot of guys are pairing the Compact Dagger slide assembly with G19 gen3 frames from Combat Armory (very Glock-esque) and SCT Manufacturing (similar to a Strike Industries Strike 80 C frame) ... both with over-molded rails and, unlike the Dagger, compatible with all OEM Glock G19 gen3 parts. Anderson Manufacturing has simply rebranded the SCT Manufacturing SCT 19 frame for their KIGER-9c G19 gen3 clone. However, unlike a Polymer80 frame, the Compact Dagger, Dagger Full Size - S, Combat Armory, and SCT Manufacturing frames all share the OEM Glock G19 "actual" grip angle. The "effective" grip angle is slightly different given the unique ergonomics of the Compact Dagger and Dagger Full Size - S frames.

PSA is moving the market. The issue I have is most of their deals are ALL threaded barrel offerings ( on completed slides).... with being pro 2A it limits states with restricted laws against threaded barrels... We already pay more for stupid 10 round mags why should we pay more for a lesser offering on a like $40 barrel.$200 vs $300. They should offer the same deals with options for restricted states is what I am getting at....

PSA has great daily deals and you can often get the frame for $199 and the slide for $49. So, you can have a complete Dagger for $249. With tax, shipping and FFL transfer fee, it comes to about $315 total.

Even though I have some higher end stuff like Shadow Systems MR920 Elite and CR920, I just ordered a Dagger. I'm curious, and it can never hurt to have another firearm around. I picked up a blem frame for 60 bucks and an RMR slide with tritium front sight on sale for 229. So for under 300 dollars I'll basically have a glock 19 MOS (gen 3). Looking forward to trying it out!

I have the Glock 17, 19 and 26. The 26 has been my edc for several years. Got a Dagger 7-8 months ago, put about 400 rds through it. 6 different types and brands of ammo with NO hiccups. I'm using it a a carry gun too now. It seems to me like the mating of a Glock and an M&P 2.0 compact. Another thing about the Dagger, it has "Nice", Steel 3 dot sights and a Steel guide rod. I got mine a blemished lower for?$59? and a plain jane upper $195. So, $254, $25 transfer fee, took the gun home for $279.

Nice to have a dead solid, reliable pistol that is actually made entirely in the USA and is as affordable as this one. Bought 2 for the price of one Glock 19. I have not had any negative experiences with the Magpul magazines...but prefer the stock Glock just for their simplicity. Both lines are cheap compared to any others. I have mixed PSA AR15 blem Lowers having Magpul stocks with BCA uppers on sale to the tune of $375 for complete and competent AR15s in a wide variety of calibers. Two great manufacturers of firearms right here in the Carolinas.

I picked up a Dagger frame with a Sig light for 119. Picked up a HoloSun 407CO for about 180. Saw a forward rear slide with threaded barrel for 199. 500 in. Optic, light, threaded barrel with cuts on the slide. Really? This would be $1k with a G19 And it works. Perfectly. With everything

Just got mine It does need a few upgrades not gonna lie but for the price you pay and the availability to use 99% of Gen 3 glocks parts you have tons of options. I paid $59.99 for my full size frame and $189 for my SW3 sniper green slide $248.99 for a complete handgun and it’s bad ass with a few quick parts replaced use OEM Glock mags they feed better then magpul which will not hold the full 17 rounds only 15 I couldn’t be happier with this purchase nice job Palmetto State Armory

The TAURUS G2C and G3 series of handguns is less expensive and an excellent cost effective alternative. However, they do not use Glock parts, or use Glock magazines. So in that sense, of being very close to a Glock clone. These PSA Dagger pistols look really good.

Palmetto's Dagger is the 1st "Glock" type pistol I have ever owned. I always thought Glocks were uncomfortable, blocky, overpriced, ugly guns with not very good triggers. Yes, they were very dependable, but just not my preference. I bought a fully loaded Dagger and a Holosun to try out reflex sights. This shows how much Glock was over priced when a US company like Palmetto can make these for almost half of the price of what Glock does in the pandemic. Even with 5-6 modernized features folks have begged Glock for, they are almost half the cost of a Glock. I can see why a all steel 1911 costs $1000.00 or more and have bought them. Try building a all steel gun. I never saw why Glocks cost what they did, when M&P and Sig and others were less costly and built the same basically. Hopefully this will get Glock to be more competitive. I'm not bashing Glock, I just think they could do better, Palmetto shows us that. Glock makes a great gun for the glock fans Maybe they will modernize their guns now and try to get more competitive. We will see.

you can reduce the 5.5 Pounds Trigger by disassemble the PSA Dagger get a demel polishing drive with the polishing paste Polish the contacting surfaces in the Trigger Polishing the contact metal parts in the Trigger linkage will not reduce the Metals surface only polish the rough trigger surfaces to become smooth resulting in a clean smooth 4.5 Pounds reduction of the Trigger Pull Weight from the standard 5.5 Pounds Trigger Pull Weight

@@sootch00 PSA is making a Micro Dagger (G43X "clone") announcement this week. In addition, there's a rumor something "BIG" is coming this week. Of course, we're expecting the .22 LR Dagger any day now (originally slated for the October timeframe). And we know a Dagger Full Size - L(ong) is in the works. The Dagger Full Size - L will have a G17-length slide assembly and will be based on gen3 parts. However, we don't know the exact form factor.

Thank God you made this video I get so sick of fan boys hating on this gun. You spend 500 on a Glock and it’s hot mess trigger then start upgrading it your out a grand if you do it right. The dagger is get rid of the hinged trigger and run it. Outlaw says Glock is more accurate I call B.S. if you compare the barrels they are identical there’s not enough difference between them to call Glock more accurate. Some folks just can’t stand it when their Jesus gun gets schooled. Glock has not changed anything except stippling. Everything else guys don’t like about Glock they leave the same and raise the price each and every generation.
