I just came home from my second day on my new job, my feet were hurting like hell. I honestly never could have imagined how good this could feel, thanks for that!!!

Hi Rachel! I've been doing your massage videos off and on for several years! They help bring a little relief to my chronic health issues. And this is a particularly relaxing and easy-to-follow foot massage! Thanks! :)

My feet don't feel good; rather, they stopped feeling bad! Hiked almost 14 miles in two days, over rough terrain. When I was almost finished with my first foot, my other foot started hurting! I think my mind figured out that left didn't have to hurt, because right was feeling so much better! Thank you so much.

Oh, I wish I was still that flexible to sit down relaxed enough like this... looks very nice and relieving. And those knuckle rubs must be heaven.

You can get a similar effect by rolling your foot on a pinkie ball, tennis ball, or massage tool.

Rachel Richards Massage yeah, I have some of those massage balls. A small one, a bigger one and one in an olive shape. But it's not the same as the “real thing“. 😖

Thank you Rachel... I cycle alot and don't stretch but your videos are showing me how important it is. Alot of issues on the feet that are coming from calf and hamstring tensions. Is that correct that the calf and hamstrings create issue on the foot and ankles?
@rachelrichardsmassage96603 жыл бұрын
Yes, indeed! The posterior chain is made up of the muscles and connective tissue along the spine, backs of the legs, and plantar fascia. Tension in any of those areas can easily create symptoms elsewhere along posterior chain. In addition, massaging any of those areas can help to ease any or all of the muscles and tissue along posterior chain.

I’d like a video on massage for heel pain. I’ve tried both of your foot massage videos, and they have worked well on the front and arches of my foot but my heels could use a bit more attention.
@rachelrichardsmassage96604 жыл бұрын
Usually massaging the plantar fascia alleviates heal pain. As long as you have no fractures, open wounds, or acute inflammation, you can try rolling a ball under your foot, and concentrate on the heal if that feels helpful. A tennis ball or lacrosse ball can work well.
@stephaniecasper75784 жыл бұрын

@rachelrichardsmassage96604 жыл бұрын
Use a massage ball, tennis ball, or lacrosse ball under your foot. Lean your weight onto the foot to create pressure and roll the ball around under your foot. You can do this seated, but standing allows you to increase the pressure if you need more.
