Sorry, This Nest Is Taken - White Rock

December 26 2024, 12:31 pm - there was a brief confrontation at our White Rock bald eagle cam nest this afternoon. It's a lovely nest with a nice view of the water - and I suspect an eagle looking for a nest decided to check it out. Unfortunately for him or her, one of the resident eagles a bit forcefully that it was not available. The encounter took less than a minute, and the visitor may have been startled, but there's no indication anyone was injured - and this is normal eagle behavior.
