The fact that the story is out of oder is because of different working times on the Episodes. Every story got written and all 3 to 4 Episodes of the storylines, produced only to not get ready with every Episode so they realesed them when they where ready. It has to do with the difficulties in Animation. Because it takes a lot of time.

No reason to get upset about liking a kids show. I like Bluey and I don’t get upset that it’s a show mainly intended for preschoolers. Clone Wars is definitely a darker show but elementary kids were watching the show every time a new episode aired on Cartoon Network. I know because me and my friends were among the ones who did when new episodes premiered.
@Fiddlefiddle5000-qv1ly3 сағат бұрын
@@emanuelrodriguez9044 yea the thing is people treat animated shows like they are just for kids. But we have seen thats not the case in many shows. @emanuelrodriguez90443 сағат бұрын
@@Fiddlefiddle5000-qv1ly Thats more of the real issue. Its not about a kids show having to be dark to be good or that adults should only like mature adult themed animations, but the fact that some adults don’t respect animated shows whether they are intended for children or not. Animation fans then get defensive when any show they like is a show mainly intended for kids/teens because other adults who don’t respect the show and use the fact that its intended for younger audiences to insult them. Me personally, I don’t give a damn if its a kid show as lighthearted as SpongeBob or a adult show as somber as Castlevania, I still think they are both great shows regardless of the audience they are mainly intended to appeal to.

Good that you're all watching it in chronological order, if only for the sake of a more cohesive timeline for marathoning-- Dave Filoni was heading the Clone Wars show primarily with the grace of George Lucas, with some pitches thrown in by George throughout, and for reasons that are very Lucas-like; George pitched ideas and often wanted to revisit old episodes to add more context or preludes to them because he felt it was appropriate or he changed his mind. Which resulted in a lot of episodes seeming jumbled and out of order when one episode (an example) would revisit a character that is presently dead or story's whom's arc's have already completed. The fan-made chronological order reorders the episodes in a timeline where the events don't suddenly jerk to the past and end up confusing new people.

The voice actor for Obi Wan is a guy named James Arnold Taylor. He pretty much makes his living impersonating celebrities for video games and TV Shows spinoffs from movies. The guy has an insane range The voice actor for Anakin is Matt Lanter. Hayden Christensen wanted to be involved as the voice actor for the character but the creative team didn't want him, I guess because of the backlash his performance got (not his fault; he can deliver a good performance if he has the right script/director). The difference is noticeable, but what I've found interesting is that Matt Lanter's Anakin voice sounds eerily similar to Hayden Christensen's voice as of now, 20 years later. Dee Bradley Baker is all the clones and he has hundreds of voice acting credits to his name. He specializes in animal and monster sounds, and he does human voices as well (He's Tarloq from Legend of Korra) but when he does a human voice you can usually tell it's him. But his performance with the clones should be studied. If you pay attention, you can tell the difference between the clones. You might not be able to tell which one is which, but you can tell it's different people speaking. So he's putting on a voice which does not sound like his regular voice and he's making that same voice sound like different people. And the way he did that was that he assigned an adjective to each clone so that he could get a different intonation to the voice. He started with flash cards to tell which one was which and now he can switch between them at a moments notice. The voice of the admiral and the narrator is also the voice of Yoda and as I recall he did play Alfred in certain Batman projects

Hayden got a bad rap for the Prequels. He did exactly as he was told, and came off as the whiney, angsty teenager he was supposed to be. I saw it back then, and defended him vigorously throughout the years. It was obvious to me, but you know how people are: If it isn't exactly the way THEY thought it should be, they bitch about it.

@allthegoodnamesaretaken022 сағат бұрын
I'm sure others have explained it already bu the reason for the "chronological order" is because this show was produced as an anthology series. Meaning unlike most series it had the ability to jump around the timeline of the war to show multiple perspectives and events. For example the movie opens with the end of the christophsis arc but they still wanted to tell story in that setting so they had episodes that were set before the film. This type of thing happens a lot. but as they seasons kept going they eventually decided to just stick to telling continuous episodes instead of anthology stories becuase it was easier. personally I kinda missed the anthology format because it was so unique and Its a big opart of why i think tales of the Jedi/Empire is so much fun.

I can't find too much reliable information on this so take it with a grain of salt but basically, early Clone Wars episodes were organized by story arc instead of chronological order. Combine this with the massive amount of people they needed to hire for a show like this as well as how certain arcs took longer to produce than others, they had to basically air what episodes they had in the first few seasons even though they took place after episodes that would be released later. Don't worry though, by the time we get to season 3, it'll all be worked out.

The Clone Wars was originally made as a sort of anthology series, with the moments in the war represented by the episodes as little snapshots, so to speak. When they kept getting more seasons, they had the freedom to go back and fill in some gaps in their story, which is why s2e16 immediately precedes the events of s1e16, and why the chronology is so rip roarin wild. It literally wasn't being told as one continuous story.

so, basically, the reason a lot of this show is out of order, is George Lucas would walk into the studio and go "hey I wanna do another story about this" and the team would reply "but we can't we already finished that/defeated them" and Lucas would just respond with something the lines of "So? just make it happen first, I made the movies out of order I can make this out of order too"

22:05 the clones have accelerated aging for mass producing them faster They age at twice the rate of a normal human Assuming all of the clones are biologically anywhere from 20 to 30, it means all the clones in the G.A.R are only 10-16 years old during the war Most of the padawans would be older than the clones they’re fighting with and the Jedi throw another kind of child soldiers onto the battlefield
@leovk577953 минут бұрын
Yeah and that mean "kid" is kinda warranted, as some of the oldest clone officers can have about 10 "biological years" (maybe even more) on the just out-of-training soldier they command, and month of real fighting experience on them too.

In the first few seasons you might notice animation quality inconsistencies, but thats because the show is super non-linear and the chronological order takes from very different points in the series. @flarpo11Сағат бұрын
So the reason the show is out of order, to my understanding, is that it was intended to be an anthology series from the start, and they kept writing new episodes that filled in the gaps between previous ones. Around the third season or so, they realized how dumb that approach was and dialed it back a little, but there's still the odd one here or there that's out of place in the timeline. So yes, they did write and produce the series out of order, but it was because they didn't originally plan on it having a continuous timeline, and they changed their plans later on.

Oh man, I’ve been waiting for this since you reacted to A New Hope! You’re in for a wild ride! Fun fact: The guy in charge of this show, who’s now executive producer and executive creative director at Lucasfilm, Dave Filoni, was on the ATLA crew as a character designer, storyboard artist, and director before getting this job. He left after book 1 to work on The Clone Wars, but he worked on some of the most memorable ATLA episodes like The Boy in the Iceberg, The Blue Spirit, and The Siege of the North. He paid homage to ATLA in TCW, there’s a clone named Appo whose helmet has an arrow exactly like Aang and Appa’s painted on it! Also, the voice of the clones is Dee Bradley Baker, who voiced Appa and Momo. Another fun fact: You know the Republic Star Destroyer ships you see? They’re called Venator-class Star Destroyers, and you can explore one in Fallen Order. The game actually tried to nudge you in that direction, Ruff, and I remember you noted it sounded interesting but you were focusing on the main story. You already finished the game, but it’s totally worth it going back there and exploring it! The area is in Zeffo and it’s called the Venator Wreckage, you can access it through the Crash Site. The inside of the ship is HUGE, the scale is amazing, there’s clone wars easter eggs inside, there’s a whole mini story involving a Jedi and her padawan you can discover through force echoes. I’m sure someone has sent you a guide already, but this is the watch order I suggest: The Clone Wars then Rebels is the essential viewing before you step into the larger universe. After that you can pick either The Mandalorian, The Bad Batch, Obi-Wan Kenobi or Ahsoka, whichever one catches your interest the most. The Book of Boba Fett must be watched between The Mandalorian seasons 2 and 3, or The Mandalorian season 3 won’t make sense. Since Tales of the Jedi/Empire are anthologies, which episodes you can watch depend on what you’ve already seen. The first 3 episodes of Tales of the Jedi focus on Dooku, so you can already watch them. The final 3 episodes should be watched after The Clone Wars. The first 3 episodes of Tales of the Empire should be watched after Ahsoka, and the final 3 episodes should be watched after The Clone Wars. Rogue One and Andor can be watched at any time, preferably sooner rather than later because they really are amazing, I can’t stress that enough. The Acolyte takes place in the High Republic, 100 years before The Phantom Menace, so it’s pretty much its own thing separate from the main Skywalker saga. It can be watched at any time too. Let’s gooooo!!!

3:28 not quite, the 2d clone wars was doing a Hayden Christensen impression that kinda reflects what people perceived his acting was like (although it was probably more what the direction made him sound like) and when matt lantern (this Anakin) came to the Booth he was like "alright everyone on the cast is doing an impression do You want me to do a Hayden Christensen?" And he was told no, I imagine because (as much as I will defend Hayden actually trying to do a Darth Vader inflection) he truly did sound like ass specially in episode 2 so they wanted to avoid that on account of them wanting the show to succeed (and I'm glad that they did, matt's Anakin is SO GOOD)

At least that's my theory on why the order is what it is

12:53 They forgot... They literally went "Hey we should do this!" Two seasons later: "Remember that thing we did? We could make a prequel???? Cuz I had this idea for an episode and it could work". Or it was too expensive or complicated to make at the time. After season 3 the timeline becomes pretty linear. Cuz at first it was quite episodic, not too connected and with the sole purpose of having a concept and theme for an episode and doing it. After time the arcs became longer, the stories complicated and needed 4-5 epsiodes to do as such. With time the concept of the series and where to take the characters more clear. Now, this whole thing I just wrote I am not 100% sure it is the whole truth or if I am missing things so someone pls correct me if needed.
