You guys should totally check out the Murder Mystery hour-long episode in Season 9 of the show, genuinely one of the best if not the best Family Guy episodes and one of my favourites too, the mystery twist is actually pretty good

Agreed, although that special is best watched after watching a substantial amount of Family Guy since it ties in with previous story beats. I.E., the James Woods rivalry, Brian and Jillian's history, and some basic knowledge of side characters and their gimmicks.

Family Guy doesn’t have a lot of movies but they do have a lot of specials. The “Road to…” episodes in particular are some of the best.

Fun fact: Seth Macfarlene said he wanted to make a theatrical family guy film, but it went into development hell since he got too busy with other projects. Hopefully the family guy film will happen at some point.

Here's the thing this was a direct DVD movie after the show got canceled in the early 2000s. Basically you can look at it and say like a reunion movie but either way it was made because Family Guy did so well during reruns on Adult Swim. The show itself wouldn't come back on air until a couple years after this movie. Also the movie itself can also be sliced up into three episodes for being played on TV I think they bundled it with one of the other seasons and in a later season episode they pointed out how the fan base wasn't really jazzed on this as a Revival movie

Yeah, it was three episodes crammed into one. I think they said the three individual episodes just didn't pan out well enough to finish on their own or something. I also vaguely recall something about how they wanted to make it a "Road to..." structure similar to Stewie and Brian's episodes like when they time traveled or went through the multiverse. "Gay Brian" was Brian's cousin.

@@cohenparsons947 Spoilers. It was nice to see all the characters have a spotlight. I just didn't like the characters they chose to kill off. Like they could have kept Derek. alive. So we could have got more episodes of Julian. And it liked that they killed off Diane Simmons. I prefer her overtime talk. Tom Tucker was a jerk. To her I felt so bad. He was even going to Replace her.

Actually, there are two kinds of fudge: Bake & No-Bake. The difference is mainly in the preparation methods. The Bake version has more liquid ingredients, and requires baking to reduce the excess fluids. The No-Bake method uses semisolids like peanut butter or cream cheese, and just needs to set in the fridge.

You definitely have to watch the episode "Road to the North Pole". It's a christmas special and one of my favorite episodes. It has some pretty good songs and I think you'll very much enjoy the storyline.

I'm pretty sure the season this was a part of is the reason Fox told them, look we gotta get permission other wise we'll get sued for doing so many Star Wars jokes. When they got permission, Lucasfilm also told them that they could make the parody episodes.

Family guy reactions would be nice but I’d personally stop at season 19/20 and only watch the highest rated episodes of the seasons after them since it starts to get noticeably shit after that.
