When he first heard about it, he watched the movie expecting the worst, but ended up finding it really surreal and amusing. Then one day he visited his nephew's school and learned kids knew who he was because of the movie. Thinking about it, he realized he had won an Olympic medal over a decade ago in 1988; there's no reason for anyone to remember who he is. Yet a generation of kids who probably weren't even born at the time all know. Edit: Correct grammar

Firstly, you asked so Kenny's voice is literally just either Trey or Matt (can't recall which) cupping his hand over his mouth; however, all of Kenny's lines are written and scripted including the intro songs and Kenny's lines are the most inappropriately hilarious bits as you'd expect from a character no one can understand. Secondly, I recommend the superhero special that South Park did. It's just a series of episodes rather than a movie but it's something that continues to fascinate me.

It truly is a great movie. I love it more every time I watch it. It's crazy to think this was supposed to be South Park at its peak, basically a kind of grand finale. Trey and Matt admit they expected that the movie was as big as South Park was ever going to get, and that they didn't think the series itself would last much longer either. Yet here we are today. Butters and Randy Marsh, now main characters and huge fan favorites, are barely even in the movie and don't even have the same well established personalities and backstories that they have now. This was even before Timmy and Jimmy, and before Tolkien had a speaking role (though he is in the movie)! It's really old, and yet it still just feels like pure South Park.

You might say it in the reaction, but Trey Parker, Robert Lopez, and Matt Stone (Parker & Stone created South Park) wrote The Book of Mormon for Broadway and it ended up winning 9 Tony Awards in 2011. The medium they use is crazy, but they are absolutely goated. The song "Blame Canada" was nominated for a Grammy and got beat out by "You'll Be in My Heart" by Phil Collins from Tarzan. The fact that they make fun of parents for not paying attention to what media their kids absorb and you had parents walking out of theaters because they found out it wasn't a true children's film. Then people were complaining online when it was the parent's fault. The meta in the commentary in this movie is so good. They realized quickly that this wasn't going to be sustainable if they wanted to pitch a regularly scripted show. Most importantly, you must react to the South Park memo. I personally like the Jack Whitehall reading. Second, Charles Carter is a classical American composer and arranger who lived from 1928 to 1999. The last thing he ever composed was an arrangement of "What Would Brian Boitano Do?" for the FSU Marching Chiefs (that I was in). The director of the Marching Chiefs told us he picked that song because it was the only song he could find in the movie that wouldn't shock the 70 year old Charlie too badly. Our first halftime show of the year (featuring summer hits of 1999) had All Star from Smash Mouth, What Would Brian Boitano Do from South Park, and I Want It That Way.

30:31 My favourite part about this scene is Mackey looking at Mr Hat as he's talking; thus giving Mr Hat credence as a sentient being worthy of personhood, m'kay?

I have the soundtrack on vinyl. Its pretty sweet actually. It has one of those holographic covers that changes slightly based on what angle you look at it. It has a red record and an orange record that you can see behind two cutouts shaped as cartman and kenny (i believe you can get a green/blue kyle and stan version too). When you open it up it has a big pop up art of Terrence and phillip like those old pop out story books from when we were kids. And it has something like a 30 page color booklet inside too

Fun story: i saw this movie in theatres with my dad. i was in about the fifth or sixth grade. Back when there was no openly available internet, and almost no cussing on tv at all. I somehow managed to convince my father to take me to see this movie. He originally banned me from watching the show. We eventually bonded over it, and he took me. But he would not stop reminding me to not tell anyone that i saw this film. I promised wholeheartedly. And immediately broke that promise the next day. I unleasehed every new word and phrase id kearned amongst peers. I had no idea what i was saying. But i got biiig reactions. Guess who got sent home early that day. Took me a few years to realize, i kinda lived out a bit of this movies plot 😂

As for construction paper, this movie was made entirety with computers. He only time they used construction paper was the first episode of the show. Theyve used computers since the second episode. Hope that answers your question

This was awesome! You guys should watch the episodes: The New Terrance & Philip Trailer, You Got F'd in the A, The Return of the Fellowship of the Two Towers, Broadway Bro Down, and Creme Fraiche. Those are some of my faves but there are so many more you guys should just go through the show tbh

Fun fact, unhooded Kenny was voiced by Mike Judge, creator of Beavis and Butthead and King of The Hill.
